Nezetta's PoV

After my two days off, I was back to help the rest of the magic knights with fixing the Royal Capital. The sooner we finish lessening the casualties, the faster we get to tend to those living in the Common Realm.

Julius called me in the palace yesterday before I left for Hage, informing me of what is about to come. With the kingdom's defenses slim, I already expected that we will be dealing with the other kingdoms and their violence, but I did not expect for us to be involved with a demon again. The Wizard King gave us six months to prepare for battle against the Spade Kingdom, which is the inhabitant of the demon Megicula.

That demon was the one responsible for putting the curse on my mother before. It was not the same to the one who casted a curse on me. I do not even know if that demon is still alive, or if they are someone from the Spade Kingdom. However, I came to find out that mine was not that life-threatening, if I could even call it that.

What curse isn't life-threatening, even?

Sighing, I picked up the last of the debris in the area I was covering and used my magic to destroy them to very small pieces before piling it up in the wagon. We will be using them to rebuild some of the buildings that we completely lost since the kingdom doesn't really have endless riches.

All this demon thing has been getting to my head since I woke up. It was bothersome and wakes me up in the middle of the night just because of the mere thought of having them attack as any time now. Our defenses are weakened, it won't be that hard to invade.

What worries me the most was the Forsaken Realm. They have little to no defenses at all. Their lives are in complete danger. We will have to do something about this before things really do get out of hand.

"Lady Nezetta, thank you for assisting us today!" The three men from the Coral Peacocks bowed humbly when we finished up all the debris in the western area of the Capital. I forced a smile back and nodded.

"No problem about it." I said. "Do you happen to know where your Captain is?"

She's clearing up the mess northwest, ma'am." The three of them pointed to the direction in sync. Chuckling, I thanked them with a bow before launching into the air to find Dorothy.

I spotted her bubbly figure happily sending the debris into Glamour World as she stood by the edge of the rooftop house she was on. "Yo, sleepy captain!" I call.

I landed behind her, smiling when she turned around to face me. She was completely awake right now, showing how beautiful her eyes really was. It was a mixture of blue and purple, reminding me so much about my own magic powers. She instantly launches herself towards me and hugs my figure tight that it was almost hard to breathe.

"Zetta! I missed you so much!"

"You won't if you actually spend more time awake." I sweat-drop.

She only giggles before pulling away from me. "So, what brings you here?"

"Nozel told me that Noelle came to you a few days ago." I said. "Did you tell her about it?"

"Ah, yes! I transported her to Glamour World when I did, so you don't have to worry."

I sighed in relief, nodding my head as my form of thanking her for taking precautions.

"What about your curse, then?" Dorothy smirked. "Have you kissed the right boy yet?"

"I haven't kissed anyone." I huff.
