Malhotra Mansion

Malhotra's and Murthy's reached home with younger clan. All started to talk and after some chit chatting all retired to there respective homes. Murthy's stayed at Malhotra Mansion itself because they have to go back Australia that night itself. Listening this Nandini got sad.

"But mom dad why are you guys returning this early. You just come in the morning." Said Nandini.

"Beta we also don't want to go leaving you but there is very important meetings which we have to attend. And in those we both were needed." Said Ishita making Nandini understand.

"Princess don't be sad. We will not be able to leave watching you like this. Please for dad." Said Raman listening which Nandini hide her sadness as she doesn't want there parents to be sad.

In night Malhotra along with Nandini dropped Raman and Ishita to airport. Bidding them bye they all returned and went to there respective rooms.

11:00 PM
Malhotra Mansion

Manik was in his room lying on bad. Suddenly he remembered something and taking something from cupboard went outside.

Manik reached Nandini's room and about to knock but it was already open. He went inside and saw Nandini sitting on bed lost in her thoughts.

"Nandini" Manik said reaching near her listening him Nandini saw towards him.

"Manik you here? " Asked Nandini being confused seeing Manik there.

"And why are you carrying first aid box?" Asked Nandini.

Manik did not answered her instead went towards her and sat beside her on the bed.

"Did you applied any medicine on your leg" Said Manik and Nandini noded in no.

"Why? " Asked Manik.

"Because it is not paining much." Said Nandini.

"Ya, that's why you were stumbling some time back. You are so careless Nandini." Said Manik.

"Now show me your leg." Said Manik

"I will apply medicine later." Said Nandini.

"Shut up, I didn't asked you." Said Manik and grabbed her leg and put it on his lap.

He took the medicine out from the first aid box and started to put medicine on her foot and then wrap the crepe bandage.

"I have done bandaid. Till morning you will be fit and fine." Said Manik completing his task. He stood up from the bed and started to walk towards the door.

Suddenly he felt a tug on his hand and turn back his head and saw that Nandini was holding his hand with tears in her eyes.

"What happened Nandu? Why are you crying." Asked Manik getting panic.

She didn't said anything, just stood up and hugged him instantly. Manik also hugged her back.

"I am missing mom dad. Why they returned this early." Said Nandini crying listening which Manik sighed.

"Nandu calm down. First drink water." Saying which Manik made her sit on bed. He took the water in the glass and made her drink it. Then sat beside her.

" Manik don't they love me? Why can't they just stay here? " Said Nandini keeping her head on his shoulder. Manik holds her shoulders.

" You know Nandini how much they love you. They love you to the moon and back. If the work wouldn't have important they would have never gone and you know this." Said Manik making her understand.

" They came today at award ceremony. Why? Just because they want to make to make you happy. Do you know they left there important work there and came here so as to make there princess happy. Do you still think they don't love you? You are there life Nandini, there everything. You don't know how much they were happy when they first saw you." Continued Manik rubbing his hand on her arms.

" I know Manik, they love me a lot. But seeing them going doesn't go well with me. I am missing them that's why uttering nonsense." Said Nandini.

"Now don't cry. If Ishi mom got to know about your crying she would get sad." Said Manik weeping her tears with his hands.

Nandini stopped crying while continued keeping her head on his shoulder. After sometime she slept, manik saw this and stood up and made her lie properly on bed. He caressed her face and kissed her forehead.

"I can't see you crying. Please don't cry ever." He whispered and exited the room.

After his exit Nandini opened her eyes.

"I miss you Manik. I miss my childhood best friend. Why don't you show your emotions like you used to. Why you shut me off." thought Nandini before closing her eyes.

Next day
School

Nandini is in her ground playing tennis thanks to Manik she is able to play because as he stated she was all fine in the morning.

Nandini has taken her coat off while playing with Srishti. They were playing continuously when there ball got damaged.

"You stay here Srishi. I will just go and bring the new ball." Said Nandini and walked towards sports room to take a new ball.

She reached sports room and opened the almirah for new ball. She was searching when door of the sports room got opened again and Manik walked in to keep basketball back in the room.

Manik walked towards almirah while dribbling the ball. He didn't saw that someone was already there. In the meantime Nandini got what she was searching for. At the same time manik also got near almirah not seeing in front due to which both got collided.

Nandini was going to fall when manik catches her at right time saving her from getting hurt. As always she was in his arms all fit and fine.

Manik made her stand up properly.

"Are you fine." Said Manik still holding her.

"Yes thank you Manik for Saving me." Said Nandini.

After that Nandini started to go out from the room while Manik was about to put the ball in almirah. He saw Nandini going.

"Nandini stop... " He said loudly watching her from behind.
