"Nandini, are you sure about forgetting the answers in exam, means if there is any problem, you want to share?" Asked manik.

"No Manik there is no problem." Said Nandini.

"Ok for now I am letting it go, but if in future I found out that you were hiding something from me then the result will not be in your favour." Said Manik sternly.

"No Manik there is nothing like that. Can you please help in mathematics. I have some doubts." Asked Nandini trying to change the topic.

"Fine bring your books out." Said Manik sitting on couch.

"I know Nandini you are hiding something. I had noticed that you were not being yourself from somedays but don't worry whether you tell me or not I will find it out anyhow." thought Manik waiting for her.

"Thank god manik got distracted from the topic and didn't ask anything further." thought Nandini.

Nandini then brought her books and sat on couch beside manik. She asked some questions and Manik started to resolve her every doubts.

"You were doing this wrong..."said Manik while checking her answer but stopped as he realized that Nandini was not listening. She had slept while solving the problem.

"How can she slept so easily. God she really is a kumbhkaran. " Said Manik.

He then took her books out from her hold and placed them neatly on table. After that he picked her up in his arms and made her sleep on bed. He tucked duvet properly on her.

"I know nandu that something is there which is disturbing you. " Whispered manik caressing her face.

He stared at her face for sometime and then kissed her forehead to which she smiled in her sleep. After that he exited the room closing the door properly.

Next day
School

Manik, Abhimanyu and Dhruv were standing outside there classroom discussing something.

Nandini with her whole class came in the ground near Manik's class as it was there games period.

"You guys can play whichever game you want but just don't leave the ground without asking me." Said there P.T teacher.

"Nandu, Mukti let's play badminton." Said Navya enthusiastically to which Mukti agreed immediately.

"No yaar. You guys go and play. I don't have mood. Iwill come after sometime till then, I am sitting there." Said Nandini indicating the place.

Mukti and Navya went to play badminton and Nandini went to one side of the ground. She was watching here and there when suddenly her eyes catches something or rather someone. Manik was standing there talking and Nandini started to stare him.

"How much handsome he looks when he talks." thought Nandini.

"Nandu if you keep drooling on Bhai so openly, I don't know about Bhai but everyone else will surely got to know about your feelings." Said Cabir.

Nandini being lost in her thoughts got startled hearing his voice.

"I was not drooling over him, I was just watching him." Said nandini.

"And I don't have eyes." Said Cabir sarcastically.

" Leave this. What are you doing here. Don't you have classes to attend?" Asked Nandini.

"Just because I disturbed your staring session doesn't mean that you will behave rudely with me." Said Cabir dramatically.

"I was asking genuinely Bhai." Said Nandini.

"I was just going to my class, but saw you in between. Now I should go else will get late." Said Cabir and went away.

Nandini also went to her friends.

"Manik I think..." Abhimanyu was saying but stopped seeing Manik not paying attention.

He turn his head to look at what Manik was watching. He saw there Nandini was standing in ground playing badminton. He smirked watching this and nudges Dhruv to see. Dhruv also sees this.

" Manik" both should together startling Manik.

Manik came back from his thoughts and saw them smiling teasingly at him.

"What? Why are you both smiling like fool. Hurry up. We don't have time to waste." Said Manik and went inside the class ignoring them. They both went behind him knowing he would not accept.

Evening
Malhotra Mansion

Manik came to Cabir's room and saw him sleeping.

"Cabir wake up." Said Manik trying to wake him up. Cabir lazily woke up.

"What happened Bhai." Asked Cabir.

" Nothing just want to ask something. Now not beating around the bush I will come directly to the point. What is cooking between you and Nandini." Asked Manik.

"What cooking? What are you talking about bhai? " Asked Cabir trying to act innocent.

"Don't try to act innocent Cabir. Just tell me everything. I had seen you both, there is definitely something which you are hiding. I will anyway going to find it whether you tell me or not, so it will be better for you to tell me everything." said Manik seriously.

"Bhai actually nandini..... She like someone."said Cabir.

"What? What like someone." Asked Manik being shocked.

"Bhai She like someone. I came to know about this as I have seen her talking to herself that she started to like someone." Said Cabir.

" What the hell... This is not her age to get into something like this instead she should be focussing on her studies. Wait I will just go and talk to her." Said Manik going outside.

Cabir came in front of him and stopped him.

" Bhai don't go to her. She will not tell anything." Said Cabir.

"Ok I wouldn't go, but tell me who's the guy? " Asked Manik.

"I don't know Bhai, she just told me that he is someone from your class." Said Cabir.

"What? You don't know anything, yet you're letting her do anything." Said Manik angrily.

"Bhai I did tried to ask her but she didn't tell anything. She said that she will tell everything after sometime." Said Cabir.

"You know what go hell with your after sometime. I am going to ask her directly." Said Manik and went outside.

Manik went to Nandini's room but didn't find her there. So he without thinking much went to terrace. Reaching there, he found Nandini sitting there lost in her thoughts.

He walked to her and holding her upper arm made her stood up.

"What the hell? Manik you? Why did you pulled me with such a force." She said rubbing her hand.

"Do you like someone?" Asked Manik making Nandini shocked.
