Next few days Nandini was just lost in her thoughts. Whenever Manik come in front of her she used to smile. Manik was like what the hell is this. He even tried to tease her but she didn't get offended.
Night Malhotra Mansion Terrace
Nandini was sitting on the chair watching the sky lost in her thoughts. Manik also came to terrace to get some fresh air when he spotted Nandini sitting there gazing the sky.
"What's up shorty? " Said Manik sitting beside her.
"Nothing just seeing the stars and moon." Said Nandini smiling.
" Nandini what is wrong with you? " Asked Manik.
"Nothing is wrong. I am perfectly fine." Said Nandini shrugging her shoulders.
"This smiling face of yours." Said Manik indicating her face with his finger.
" You are smiling even when I am teasing you. " Said Manik.
"Manik you remember in childhood we always used to come here gazing the sky for hours." Said Nandini ignoring Manik's questions.
"Oh hello, this is also your childhood only. Have you ever seen your size? You look like an eight year old" Said Manik laughingly.
"Manik please tease me afterwards. You remember we used to come here watching sky for hours. " Said Nandini.
"Yes I remember. It was our favourite place. " Said Manik.
"Yes and we used to see different shapes of clouds. " Said Nandini.
"And you always came up with something hilarious." Said Manik.
Both were lost in there memories of childhood. They were talking about everything they used to do. After sometime Manik felt weight on his shoulder. He turned and saw Nandini had slept on his shoulder. He shook his head at her and picked her up in his arms carefully not breaking her sleep.
He went to her room with her in his arms sleeping comfortably. He settled her on bed and covered her with duvet. She snuggled into duvet. Manik bent down and kissed her forehead. He then went to his room.
Morning Malhotra Mansion
Nandini woke up and saw the time. She prayed to God.
"I was at terrace yesterday night talking with Manik, but how come I am here. As much as I remember I didn't came here. I was with Manik so obviously he would have dropped me here. " She thought and got up.
She got ready and went to school with Manik, Cabir and Mukti.
" Nandu we have test today. And I haven't read even a word. Please help me yaar otherwise I will get fail and if it happens Bhai will be upset with me." Said Mukti to Nandini.
" Calm down Mukti. Neither will you be fail nor Manik will be upset from you. I will teach you. We have half an hour before exam and it's enough to prepare. Do let's start." Said Nandini.
Then both of them started to study for the test. Like this the day passed.
Evening Malhotra Mansion
"What is happening with me? Why I am thinking about him again and again. And on top of that I am not able to concentrate on studies also." Nandini thought sitting in her room.
Thinking this she picked her mobile and started to google about her current situation. She typed " What does it mean when you can't stop thinking about someone?" on google.

And then result appear. She started to read it. "This can't be the second reason because I definitely don't hate him. But, does that mean I love him? Is it really love? Do I really love Manik. Oh god! this all is so confusing. I will go insane. I think I should sleep for sometime. Maybe then I can think wisely with fresh mind." thinking that she tried to sleep but again her thoughts are drifting to Manik only. Getting frustrated she again sat down on bed. She picked her mobile and started to search, " How to know if you are falling in love." She read the results :
1. You find yourself constantly thinking about them even if you have a lot going on.
Yes I am thinking about him only thought Nandini.
2. You can't stop sneaking stares at them when they're not looking.
Reading this she remembered lunch time when she was looking at him from time to time.
3. You experience sleeplessness and a loss of appetite.
This point is damn true because this is actual situation nowadays thought Nandini.
4. You feel safe and protected by them.
His mere presence is enough for me to be safe because I know he will protect me in whatsoever situation.
Like this she read other points some of them were not matching but most of them are according to her current condition.
"Means I am really in love. And I love Manik. But does he love me too? " thought Nandini.
Next day Malhotra Mansion
Today is Sunday so there is no school today. Raj is reading the newspaper.
"Neyo where is my tea?" Asked Raj.
"Wait a minute Raj. Just coming." Said Neyonika and brought a cup of tea for Raj and sat beside him on the couch.
"Good morning mom and dad." Said Manik coming downstairs.
"Good morning Bacha. You woke up this early. " Asked Neyonika.
"Yes mom. You know na I like to wake up early. And I have to study as well." Said Manik.
"Ok you sit. I will bring a cup of coffee for you." Said Neyonika getting up.
"Mom you don't take tension I will make it myself. You sit here." He said making Neyonika sit.
Neyonika and Raj smiled seeing there caring son.
"Good morning neyo maa and Raj papa." Said Nandini while climbing down the stairs.
"Good morning princess." Raj and Neyonika said and she kissed there cheeks.
"How come you woke up this early today. As much as I know, you are a late riser." Asked Neyonika.
" I too am confused about this." Said Nandini making them smile.
"Ok tell me what you want to drink chocolate milkshake or butterscotch." Asked Neyonika.
"Nothing. I will just have a water." She said getting up from her place moving towards kitchen.
