"Yes I love you and not from today, yesterday or a month. I love you from the three damn years." Shouted Manik holding her arms.

"What? " said Nandini being shocked.

"You wanted to know na what I feel for you, so now I am accepting that Yes I do love you." Said Manik.

" Then why did you said earlier that you don't love me, that you hate me. Why you always ignored me? Why you made distance from me? Why Manik? Why? " Asked Nandini shocked with the revelation.

"Because I didn't wanted you to get distracted from studies. I didn't not wanted to spoil your future." Said Manik.

"What. What are you saying Manik? I can't understand anything. How can your love be hindrance to my study?" Said Nandini making confused face.

"You remembered when you were in 5th standard and I was in 8th. " Said Manik to which Nandini noded her head in yes.

"We were best friends. We used to tell each and everything to each other. Whatever the situation be you always used to came to me. Then suddenly I started to feel something different with you. It was like I wanted to spent my every second, every moment with you. You were always in my mind. That time I didn't knew what those feelings were but after sometime realization dawned upon me that I was falling in love with you." Said Manik and Nandini looked at him shocked. He took her right hand in his hand.

"Yes its true. I had fell in love with you. I started spending more time with you. All was going good, day by day my feelings were getting stronger. All the things were great untill I realized something" Said Manik carrasing the back of her right hand palm. She looked at him to know further.

"I realized that you were getting attached to me more, and believe me I was more than happy with that but than you were avoiding every other thing for me. You started to avoid your studies and even getting distant from all your friends which was anything but acceptable to me." Said Manik.

"No I didn't avoided studies." Said Nandini

"Really?" Asked Manik to which she looked downwards.

"Nandu you know this, don't run from the truth. You also knew how you always just ran behind me leaving everything. You even stopped playing with your friends just so that you can spend more time with me." Said Manik.

"You could have made me understand these things." Said Nandini to which Manik chuckled.

"Why are you laughing I hadn't cracked any joke." Said Nandini angrily seeing him laughing.

"Do you really think that you would have understand?" Asked Manik.

"Yes." Said Nandini.

"No you wouldn't have. You are saying this now because now you are grown up and has more understanding. " Said Manik.

"I saw how your grades were falling continuously. At first I ignored it thinking that it can happen sometime and you will concentrate more from next time But you proved me wrong when it didn't stopped. And then you got fail also in one of your exam which shocked me. I thought about that and came to a conclusion that the reason behind all of that were me." Said Manik.

"I can bear anything but your downfall Nandini. It was like all your life was revolving just around me. I was like center of your life. I wanted you in my life but not like this. I always wants best for you. I know your capabilities, your potential and I didn't wanted to waste your talent, just because of me. I was a distraction for you at that point of time. So I did what I found best. I distant myself from you, started ignoring you, so that you can concentrate on things other than me. I always itried to ignore you whenever you came to me. And even after so many of your attempts I didn't talked to you, and believe me Nandini that was not easy for me either. And when my ignorance continued, you stopped coming to me and drowned yourself in your studies. You started doing very good in studies, you again started to play with your friends and watching that I felt happy and thought that this was the best for you." Said Manik and nandini was listening to all this quietly.

"Manik If I hadn't expressed my love, would you have ever planning to do so?" Asked Nandini to which Manik didn't answer.

"Tell me Manik. Answer me I am asking you something." Asked Nandini.

"Do you even know how much bad i felt when you ignored me everyime. I didn't even knew why you were ignoring me. I thought maybe you are angry with me, everyime you ignored me I used to think if I had done some mistake but nothing came to my mind and that make me frustrated. There was always one thing in my mind and that is what to do so that you talk to me." Nandini said crying Manik tried to wipe her tears but she didn't let him.

"You were my best friend. How could you do that? Just because you thought that was better for me you started to ignore me." Said Nandini cryingly.

"Nandu listen." Manik tried to say something but Nandini cut him off.

"No I will not listen to you. Now I think you don't love me. You friendship and your love both are only lie..... " Said Nandini but something happened which made her stop.

Manik was trying to stop her but she was not ready to listen but when she said that his love and friendship are lie his patience got broke and he just slammed his lips on her pulling her from her waist.

Nandini was shocked with this move of his, would be an understatement, she was shocked to the core.

Manik just putted his lips on her to stop her from saying anything. He after a minute detached his lips from her and kept his forehead on hers.

"Never say this again Nandini. My friendship with you was never a lie neither my love." whispered Manik.

"Then why did you did that manik? You know how much broken I was to lose your friendship. Your friendship is very precious to me." said nandini looking into his eyes.

"I am sorry for that but that was the only thing I could think at that point of time. You are precious to me too but then I couldn't see your downfall too. I want to see you reach heights of success." said Manik.

But manik what if I wouldn't have realized and confessed to you about my feelings?" asked nandini.

"I had left it to the destiny. I always believe if we are meant to be then destiny will made us meet by any mean." said Manik.
