Hadiza's Pov

"Hadiza I am going to tell you today why exactly I left Kano".

"Ok aunty".

I was already better at this time.I and Stella's result were also out.She had 256 and I had 352 which was more than ok for me to study my desired course.

"You see about 20 years ago...",she said and stopped to sniff in as she was close to tears without even starting the story.

"Ahh aunty please don't cry ,if you don't want to tell me then maybe another time or don't bother".

"No oo,I will tell you,just bring handfan for me".

What could have happened that made Aunty Aminat want to cry?Aunty Lisa was in the parlour when I came back and this time she was looking happy making me wonder what happened within the few minutes I was gone and how she entered without me hearing a knock on the door.

"Aunty Lisa Good afternoon",I greeted her.

"Hadiza how na?,I haven't seen you in a while oo".

"She has being strong ni o",my aunty beat me to it by speaking up first.

"Ehhh and I didn't know oo,how you dey now?You are even okay with the way you are talking",she said laughing amidst.

"Lisa wetin you wan chop na".

"Ahnahn I am not a visitor na and I just came in here not up to 10 minutes o Aminat",she said jokingly.

"Hadiza bring one cold malt",my aunty said as I was about leaving them to talk.

"Hadiza if you bring the malt,we go fight oo".

I just laughed at how they were using me to play.I was confused on taking it or leaving it but I took it instead and Aunty Lisa just thanked me and said our fight don start be that.

"Hadiza how far?",Stella asked as I knocked and she heard my voice.

"I am fine,how you dey?".

"I don tire to dey stay for house jare".

"We are resuming soon so just wait till then and you will stop being tired".

"Na true you talk sha ehnehn let us talk about your boyfriends".

"Are you playing?Which boyfriend oo?".

"Hmmn I know your type that will be doing gentle gentle you better talk true".

"Stella I am serious..I don't have any boyfriend it is just book",I said bluntly.

"Ahh you sound serious oo..shey make I believe you?",she asked herself with a funny face.

"I am sure you have thousands",I said laughing out loud.

"I was playing with you urrh..so tell me about your own now".

"I no too get but I get like 6 before but now nobody",she said counting her fingers.

She covered my mouth to avoid hearing the other things I had to say.

"Must you shout?".

"I am surprised that I have never had one and you have had six,did you have one for each class?".

She laughed and laughed till she fell from the stool she sat on.

"Those are the ones I remember that's why I said six..maybe they are more than that sef",she said jokingly.

"If you enter university how many will you now have?".

"Hadiza calm down na e no pass boy".

"Ehh tell me their names".

"Emeka,henry,matthew and ahh e get this yoruba boy wey I date when I come lagos o,one butty boy like this Olumide ehnehn,who else o?...how many have I mentioned?".

"You mentioned four and wait have you come to Lagos before this time I met you?".

"It remains Lawrence and how can I forget Kelvin oo,that stingy boy and it's just when I came to Lagos this year that I dated Olumide".

I pretended to faint when I heard the last part.

"You too like drama Hadiza",she said out loud.

"I am just shocked na as in when and where did you meet the boy?".

"It was one time that my sister sent me to buy something in that supermarket we usually go and buy bread..This boy came to meet me and was speaking oyibo o.I first used him to play very well before I gree for him later later".

"Ehnehn so why did you break up?".

"Omo that wan na long story oo...I really liked him and I think he did too but his former girlfriend was disturbing me and I don't know how she got my number and you know all these spoilt children.I don't fear her oo at all.See as I stand for ground na but I didn't want another drama for my sister if not ehn...so I just explained everything to him that I don't want trouble".

"Awwwn don't mind her jare..do you people still talk?"

"He still calls me very well but I don't want wahala.When I enter uni...better go come abeg".

"Be careful oo,let me go inside before my aunty starts looking for me",I said and left her outside.

I wonder what Hadiza's aunty wanted to tell her that made her almost start crying.Stella like man oo ahnahn😂😂.
