"Girl! Derek would've been there in 2.5 seconds if a nigga talked to me like that," I laughed with Bianca. I was over at her house "catching up" and waiting for Rodney to show up. He usually stopped by at least once a day if Bianca was home and when he did today Derek and Damon would be waiting for him.

"How's he doing? And Damon and the baby?" she asked. I started to respond when Gelo walked into the house.

"Derek and Damon on watch, too?" he asked. My eyes got big and I tried to flash him a 'shut the fuck up' look but he didn't get it. Bianca got up and headed towards the door to see what was wrong.

"I was just asking about y'all!" Bianca said happily as they walked towards the front door.

"We just stopped by cuz Mora said she was over here and we ain't seen you and Rod in a minute," Derek lied, grinning. Bianca gave them each a quick hug then lead them back to the house.

"He should be on his way actually," she cheesed and we all walked inside.

"Why was y'all parked down the block?" Gelo said. We all turned to him giving him that look but he couldn't catch a hint.

"This nigga couldn't remember which house it was with his dumb ass," Derek pointed at Damon and laughed. We joined in on the laughter but it was an awkward kind with tension underneath. "Gelo matter a fact, I gotta talk to you about some business, come on," Derek said, draping an arm over his shoulder and walking him out the room. I took a seat back on the couch with Bianca and Damon and listened as Bianca asked a hundred questions about Chanel.

"BB," someone called walking into the house. I looked up and saw Rodney enter the room. "The fuck she doing here?" he asked then he noticed Damon and instantly pulled his gun out.

"Rodney!" Bianca yelled. "What's wrong with you?"

"I shot yo lil friend now you kickin it at my girl house? I'm not a dummy," he said aiming the gun towards me.

"Rodney stop, you're acting crazy!" Bianca said, stepping in front of me.

"B, get out the way," he spoke calmly. "Bianca, I'm not gonna ask you again, get out the fucking way," he stepped closer and pushed her out the way. He pinned me down on the couch and held the gun in my face. "Y'all tryna play me?" he asked looking at Damon who had his gun out too.

"She came to see her friend. I came too just to make sure you ain't feel like shooting anyone else today," Damon spoke. "So let her go and we'll leave," He looked from me, to Damon, to Bianca and back. It was quiet in the house for what seemed like a long time until he finally moved the gun from my head.

"Get out. Next time you wanna see Bianca do it at your own house," he said waving us out. Damon helped me off the couch and walked out, not saying a word. When we got a few feet away from the house I looked up at him confused.

"Why didn't you shoot him. The plan was to shoot him when he got here," I said quietly. Damon was silent as we turned the block and made it back to the car. We sat there for a while until Derek and Gelo appeared.

"What happened?" I asked. Derek ignored me of course and dapped Gelo up.

"You know what to do next, just let us know when," he said and with that Damon drove off. I tried to keep quiet cuz I knew they'd get annoyed if I kept asking questions but I was so confused why we just walked out of there without killing Rodney, or at least trying to.

"So no ones gonna explain?" I spoke up.

"It wasn't the right time Mora. The right time is coming though," Derek finally responded.
