As predictable as the sunrise itself, Copper rose himself from bed, observing over his surroundings once again. The sky rarely was visible from his window, and the Sun shone through the Spring leaves. At his door, there was a carpet that awaited Copper to pick up his shoes, setting them on, and heading out to do his outdoor stroll. There was no one else outside to greet him, and therefore, he decided to go a bit past the border of their town. Frost as well as Woody were no early birds, so Copper was safe to explore.

"Where was that mysterious white figure?" Copper asked himself, walking past the several homes of his friends, and looking past the many trees in his view. Continuing to where the old boat was, Copper could not find anyone in his sights. He felt like it really was all in his head. When he decided it was time to head back, there was the familiar chanting of the figure. It sounded like singing, something that lured Copper more than before. "Hello?" Copper called out, but received no reply. It was time for him to debunk his ludicrous theory. Could this be another lumalight like him?

Not entirely like himself, but someone who was willing to join their small town in the woods. The white figure sped ahead, not looking back to check if Copper was still in pursuit. Indeed he was following close behind, and his mind was swirling with thoughts. "Wait, stop!" Copper cried, panting for air as he kept pounding his feet on the ground, chasing after the mysterious figure. He gave up running for the person, focusing on his breathing rather than going farther away from his home. "Darn it, I was...this close" he muttered in between breaths, kneeled down on the grass.

The figure noticed his shaky breath, and halted, turning back to wait for Copper to regain his energy. Copper noted the feeling of someone watching him, and realized it was the spirit that guide him all this way. "Hey...who are...you?" Copper hefted out a sigh, sitting down on the ground with his hand rubbing his pounding head. The white figure searched around for anyone who could have been spying, reassuring themselves that they were alone. "Copper, it's me, Aqua" the figure who was supposedly Aqua stated. Copper couldn't believe what his ears had heard.

"No you're not..." Copper remarked, not wanting to accept the fact that this was Aqua's new form. "I am! I can tell you anything to convince you" they perked up, Copper taking this as a challenge. "Very well, then what kind of lumalight are you?" Copper questioned, the spirit quickly responding "Water". Copper nodding in confirmation, going on to the second question in mind. "Who asked you to be their lover first?" Copper secondly asked, 'Aqua' said "Metal". It all came down to the final question Copper was going to ask Aqua next. "Who do I love?" Copper quizzed.

"Me..." the lumalight replied blushing, the answer Copper wanted revealing itself into the light. "You are Aqua!" Copper joyously jumped around, twirling Aqua around in her white dress. Aqua giggled at the playfulness of Copper, raising herself to be at eye level with her long lost love. Both Copper and Aqua embraced each other, dancing around happy to have found one another after weeks of isolation. "But how are you here? How are you not dead!?" Copper informed Aqua, tracing his hands over her facial features. Aqua had to process what did happen to herself.

"I found myself in this weird place when I was close to death, as if someone wanted me there. Then I heard a voice that asked "What do you remember?", so I responded with all my happiest moments since it's all I can recall" Aqua explained, examining over Copper's teary eyes. He could not stop the flow of water pouring down from his cheeks, he was ecstatic to see Aqua again. Copper placed his head on Aqua's chest, listening to her heartbeat as he rested on the grass, Aqua caressing his chin gently. "I thought there was only three outcomes" Copper muttered.

The water lumalight overheard this, and cleared her throat, analyzing the life of lumalights. "Well ashed lumalights like Skull have mystifying personalities that make them mysterious and wondrous like Mid. Ghost lumalights are more brutal, and don't have a will to care" Aqua detailed, going over what she did know versus what she could put together. "Then there's permanent death" Copper reminded, the two ignoring the obvious symptom. "Well you're a ghost of some sort, and you're not brutal" Copper assumed, Aqua there to correct his misjudgment.

"Actually, I'm an angel lumalight now!" Aqua retorted, the bronze colored lumalight thrown off from the response given. "What!?" Copper screeched, Aqua shushing him with a finger pressed against his lips. The sound of birds filled the air, Copper looking around himself to see whether or not they were spotted. Absolutely nothing and no-one were interfering with their conversation. "I don't know if it's official, but when I was in that weird place, I asked to learn about how to speak more proper which confused the person who was interrogating me" Aqua spat back, Copper as well puzzled.

"You see, I found it hard to talk to you whenever you spoke to me because you weren't afraid to say anything, and that lead to complex sentences that I couldn't elaborate by myself" Aqua sighed, taking out a small notepad that had a title labeled "Aqua's Basic English Book". The author written down below was named "Second Chance" in fancy cursive, Copper reading over the name, and going along with the fact someone gradually handed them a how-to book. "That's great! We won't have to worry about the voice barrier between us now!" the now cheery spirit smiled, Aqua smiling back.

They both took their time to look at one another, lost in each other's gazes as well as holding hands. "I really missed you" Copper hinted, rubbing his thumb over Aqua's backhand. She slightly shivered from the cold hands of his, recoiling it back to warm it up with her other hand. The male snaked his hand back in hers however, and pulled her close to his chest to warm their hands. Aqua could not deny that this was helpful, and a very loving thing of Copper to do. "I missed you too" Aqua sent back, cuddling in Copper's arms. The Sun was still in the same position it was for a while, Copper and Aqua taking their time to relax in the shade of a tree.

"Hey, you could come back with me to our new town. Grass as well as the others built a lot of houses together" Copper informed the resting girl, her eyes fluttering open, and fixating on Copper's large round ones. She got up from his lap, and stretched her noodle-like arms out, bobbing her head to the idea. "That sounds great! I'd love to come" Aqua beamed, leaping into the open arms of Coppers that spun her around a full three-sixty. "Wait, what will the others think?" Aqua worried, her head racing with several terrible outcomes of her arrival.

Copper felt a wave of worry hit him also, but his face hid it very well. There wasn't a trace of fear from his idea. "Don't worry, you don't have to publicly show yourself until your'e prepared, you could stay at my house for the first two days" Copper offered, Aqua taking that to consideration. "Yeah, I could do that" Aqua agreed, Copper walking the two back into town, sneaking past people who were at work with their jobs. Grass was gardening with Flora, Rubber was making more than just gloves today, and Bulb was helping to refill their electric sources.

As the two got to the front door of Copper's home, Copper placed down Aqua to her feet, unlocking the door, and swinging it open, Aqua hit with the scent of pinecones. It was her first experience in her own sized home, admiring all the decoration that came into it. Lots of details from paint and cushioning scattered the place, Aqua's face starstruck from beauty. Her lover, Copper felt nervous to make a good homey impression, and even give her a tour of what he called a "home". To Oil in his words, it seemed like a miniature doll house specialized for dolls.

It made no sense at first, but with a lot of thought, it was clear. "Well, do you like it?" Copper scratched the back of his head, Aqua laying into the pillows of his bed, and giggling from how soft they were. "It's perfect" Aqua glistened, looking up to the ceiling of the room. Copper was content with the answer he received, and climbed over Aqua, cuddling his head into the nook of her neck. Yet again, cute small giggles erupted from Aqua, her squealing from the feeling of his nose poking around. "Aqua, I thought it was all over until you came back" Copper mumbled.

"I'm here now" Aqua stated bluntly, Copper understanding, but not feeling it entirely. "Yes, but I had lost hope of your return a while ago" Copper sighed, twirling his finger with the string of his sweater. Aqua copied his movement with the other string of his sweater. "You wanna nap first, then we'll talk later?" Copper suggested, Aqua humming with a positive tone, the answer being clear. They both snuggled close in Copper's bed, taking a nap that lasted longer than it should have...
