The new day began, Aqua and Copper waking to see they have overslept, and were both startled from their appearance. Copper forgot about Aqua sleeping beside him, so it shook him slightly. Aqua felt similar, her heart racing when she laid eyes upon the waking figure to the side of her. Other than them both scared from seeing one another, their hands were joined together, the two realizing it was only their lover. "Sorry for scaring you, are you okay?" Copper mumbled, gliding his hand over the soft surface of Aqua's face.

She took the hand away from her face, and sighed quietly, smiling at  the worried male. "I'm alright, forgot we fell asleep" Aqua replied, rubbing the tiredness out of her eyes. Copper did as well, letting out a long yawn, and stretching his arms around Aqua's waist. A small squeak from Aqua's mouth erupted, her limbs giving in to comfort. "Coppy, could you release my arms, please?" Aqua requested, her arms being strangled by Copper's two stronger ones. "Sorry" Copper apologized, releasing Aqua from his hold.

"Wait, did you call me Coppy?" Copper fumed, his face glowing a bright rose gold hue. Aqua nodded in response, getting up from the small bed they had, and stretching her back as far as she could bend. When the two finally decided to get up from their slumber, Copper informed her they should freshen up before they actually head out. Aqua agreed, being the first to run to the Kitchen, and grab herself a piece of an apple, and water that was left in a cup. Copper cleaned his sweater, and placed it back on, joining Aqua in a small breakfast.

"Ready to go out?" Copper questioned, Aqua preparing for the outer wilderness. "Whenever you are" Aqua shuddered, wondering whether or not the others would be thrilled or annoyed to see her. After all, she got them in this place, far from their original home. As the two progressed through the small town, they were met with Grass who was out front in his garden, watering the flowers that blossomed out. "Copper! I thought you'd never wake up!" Grass waved to Copper, Copper waving back as a greeting. Aqua stayed hidden behind Copper.

"Aqua, don't you wanna greet Grass?" Copper whispered back to Aqua, her shifting further behind his gaze, Copper sighing in defeat. "Who are you talking to?" Grass interrogated, the confused lumalight turning around to see Aqua nowhere in his sighs. "Aqua?" Copper asked himself, searching all over the place for where Aqua could have possibly gone. Just where Rubber's kiosk was, Aqua was hiding behind the counter, quivering in fright. "Hey, it's okay, you can come out" Copper cooed, gently picking up Aqua from behind the counter.

She held her arms tight around his neck, not wanting to let go from his embrace. From the distance, it was clear to Copper that someone was coming back to retrieve something. That someone was Rubber, the two obviously in plain sight, and panicked. "Rubber might think we were snooping around, so let's go clear the confusion" Copper suggested, Aqua following along with his antics. "Oi! What were you  doing around my kiosk, Coppa?" Rubber crossed his arms, in his hand was a piece of ripped napkin holding different rubber materials.

"Sorry for intruding on your personal belongings, but we were just looking around for you" Copper explained, Rubber's eyebrow raising up in confusion. "We? What do you mean we?" Rubber asked, Copper twisting his head to see no one behind him. "Not again" Copper groaned out, navigating his surroundings in search for Aqua. Rubber ignored his unusual behavior, and sighed, heading home rather than wasting his own valuable time. "I don't have time for this, buddy" Rubber muttered, walking away from the scene of the crime.

"Aqua, where are you?" Copper called out, up above him a drip of water splatted on his head. There she was, lurking up above the roof of Rubber's kiosk, Copper amazed how fast she got up there without Rubber noticing. "Aqua, come down here this very instant" Copper demanded, Aqua hovering down, and landing right beside Copper. "How did you get out of view so fast?" Copper examined, the water lumalight not having an answer to go with. "Why are you even hiding from them? Don't you want to see them again?" Copper remarked.

"Yes, but I'm scared of what they might think when they see me like this" Aqua mumbled under her breath, barely hearable from Copper's distance. "Can you say it again?" Copper requested, leaning closer to hear her better. "I'm scared" Aqua repeated, Copper lifting his head to hear a loud bang, and see many colored balls rolling out from someone else's home. "Can someone catch that ball for me!?" Cube shouted, Copper halting it with his foot, and tossing it back to Cube. "Thanks! What're you doing out here?" Cube asked her friend.

"Me? I was just walking someone around, someone you might be happy to see again!" Copper added, Cube's eyes widened more with thrill in her eyes. "Well spit it out, who's this spirit?" Cube pressured on, Copper moving to the side to introduce Aqua. "It's Aqua!" Copper excitedly introduced, Cube seeing no one, and feeling a sense of doubt fill her. "Copper, she's not there. Besides, isn't she presumably dead?" Cube noted, Copper's smile contorting to a frown. "N-no! She was right here, I promise!" Copper informed the ice lumalight.

Others from their homes overheard the argument between Copper and Cube, them rallying together to see what the discussion was about. "Copper, what is the meaning of this?" Mid stepped in, breaking apart the uncertainty between the two. Cube was the first to speak from her view of the story. "Copper keeps saying that he sees Aqua now, but I haven't seen her at all" Cube explained, the others whispering to one another about Copper's insane mind. "He was just talking to me about there being a "we" when I just bumped into him!" Rubber added, the group conversing over Copper's imagination.

"Guys, it's not a lie, it's the truth!" Copper blurted out, Mid and Skull looking at one another with dread in their eyes. Grass along with Flora did not want to look at the saddening display Copper was giving. "You have to believe me! I saw her, and she even came to my home!" Copper detailed, the others thinking about whether or not to believe his story. Mid walked face to face with Copper, placing his hands on Copper's shoulders. "She's not here! No one can see this except you! It's all in your head, just let it go!" Mid argued, Copper angered.

"Why won't you guys believe me?" You haven't even asked about the proof yet! Just give me time to prove myself true!" Copper begged, no one letting him have the chance to explain his reasonings. "Stop saying that you see a white figure in the woods then! Complaining about all this won't bring Aqua back, she's dead already, accept it!" Mid belched out, Copper shaking his head 'no'. "I won't accept any of it, with my own two eyes I've proven myself correct" Copper sighed, Mid turned his back to Copper, walking away silently.

"Stupid midget..." Copper muttered under his breath, Mid overhearing what Copper had said, and turned around with hatred in his eyes. "What did you say, Copper?" Mid growled, his hands bawled up in fists. "None of your business!" Copper yelled back, Mid feeling an urge to fight back, and immediately jumping on Copper, tackling him to the ground. The two rolled around in the grass, throwing punches one after the other. "Someone stop those two!" Flora nervously shouted, Grass extending his arms to put a halt to their fight.

His arms unfortunately could not split the two apart, and he recoiled them back, scared his arms could get damaged from their punches. "Sorry, Flora, I can't intervene" Grass apologized, Flora understanding it was going to be difficult to separate them. Skull stepped up, coming to retrieve his boyfriend from Copper's clutches. From the collar of Mid's shirt, Skull picked up his small lover, putting an end to their bickering. "That's enough, you two are freaking everyone out!" Skull retorted, everyone agreeing with Skull's statement.

"Well then listen to what I have to say, and then we can decide whether or not you believe me!" Copper whined, Mid blurting out something he had to get rid of. "Get this stuck in your head, she's dead! Aqua is dead, and is not coming back!" Mid shouted, Copper's mind snapping, and his hand swiftly smacked Mid across the face. The fight did not involve contact with the face, this being the first time Copper has struck Mid directly. Small tears became larger ones until a waterfall of tears emerged from Mid's glossy eyes.

Skull shushed Mid to rest in his arms, Skull rocking him back and forth. Grass had enough with Copper's hallucinations, and emerged out of the group of different lumalights. "Copper, I sentence you to house arrest for a month" Grass declared, Copper's mouth widening in shock. "Fine..." Copper accepted, heading home with his head held low. The others watched him walk away, Aqua as well with fear in her eyes. She didn't know she was only visible to Copper's eyes.
