Chapter 34: Shake

Rory POV

"He's coming Rory, just you need to calm down." Dixie says hugging me. We're standing outside Seattle Ranch. Charli went home with her parents and Dixie is Ubering home after Griffin comes to get me.

I feel so numb.

How does he even know?

Why would he do this to me?

I know Charli feels worse. But of all things why would Chase tell everyone that? Why did I have to be involved. I could have just been supporting Charli.

The paparazzi found us and freaked out because of Twitter so we're around the back. Griffin is taking me to the Hype House. Jaden did a live video and he's with a lot of the Sway boys. My phone blew up but I haven't even opened it.

No one was supposed to know. I'm trying so hard to not relapse again and no one ever had to know.

"Griff, over here!" Dixie calls to an approaching car, her arm still around me. She looks towards me, asking, "Are you sure you don't want to go back to our house? And that you're okay?" I just nod, not wanting to talk about what I know she's now, along with everyone else, going to think I'm going to do whenever I'm upset.

"Come one and get in Ro," Griffin says softly. I walk slowly over and carefully open the passenger side door, getting in.

"Alright, bye! I'll talk to you guys later! Good luck!" Dixie calls as we drive away.

"I'm sorry you have to do this before going to their house," I say quietly, feeling bad that I'm taking Dixie's boyfriend away from her.

"Ro, you're one of my best friend's girlfriend, not to mention one of my best friends. I'll do whatever you need, especially tonight." I smile softly, before looking down, anxious about the upcoming events. "I didn't cheat on her." I look at him curiously, "What Chase said. I never have or would cheat on Dixie. I just wanted to make sure you know that." I nod before saying,

"If I didn't hear it from you Griff, I wouldn't believe it." He smiles back at me, turning back to the road.

"Bye Griffin, I'll talk to you later." I say, ready to get out of the car. There are so many paps here, but I just have to get inside.

"Rory. It'll be okay." He says, smiling at me encouragingly.

"You don't know that." I reply, before getting out and closing the door. He quickly drives away, and I'm left with all of the yelling fans and people with cameras.

"Rory, what is going on inside?!"

"Are you really dating Bryce?!"

"She's just an attention seeking bitch!"

"Did you really cut and not tell him?!"

"Why are you here?!"

"You freak, stay away from the boys!"

"Did you hook up with Griffin, is that why he dropped you off?!"

Why would you think you deserve Bryce Hall?!"

"Why would you do that to Bryce?!"

I hear all the questions being yelled in my face, as all the lights flash in my face. I just blink, not being able to process what to do with all the noise.

I wish Griffin had stayed.

"Rory! Sweets, come one!" Bryce yells, suddenly running in front of me, Tony next to him. They lunge forward, each grabbing one of my arms and pulling me to the front door.
