So, where do you think Jisung planned the dinner to be?" Jeno quietly asked while swinging their interlaced hands back and forth. "I mean, they've been all secretive."

It had been a month since the pair had finally gotten together, and although there were many things that needed adjusting in their lives, both found it quite simple to remake a routine.

As the two months had gone by, Jisung and Renjun had become best friends, and had even dragged Mark and the Chinese student, Chenle, into the group.

None of them knew the kid too well, but he seemed nice enough.

Jinsoo and Donghyuck still patrolled the halls, their scowls becoming killer as they would pass a certain couple, although it didn't mean anything to either of them.

Jeno's sister wasn't cured, and it was likely that she never would be, but everyone was comfortable knowing that she was in safe hands under the financial support of Jeno's father who had milked the promotion to get any money he could.

The family was devastated to hear of the break-up, and as much as Jaemin had wanted Jeno to tell them of the toxic side of the relationship, the older found no reason to do that to his parents, and instead introduced his new boyfriend.

Everyone loved him, almost pushing aside the years that their son had spent with Jinsoo.

All was looking back to normal...Well as normal as Lee Jeno and Na Jaemin's lives could possibly be.

Winter was slowly slipping away from them and the spring was presenting itself as a promising one. The hint of green grass beneath the thawing snow was enough to restore hope with everyone.

College was good, and the boys were all preparing for their first year-end exams.

Before things would get too stressful, Jisung had asked all their friends out for a nice day out and dinner.

But now, as the couple walked through town, their phones began pinging with the notifications of their friends cancelling.

Jaemin smirked, his hand only squeezing onto Jeno's tighter.

"Those idiots, ay?" The blonde mumbled while shaking his head and pocketing his phone. "They could have just told us to go on a date for our two-month anniversary..."

Jeno hummed, he too had a small smile gracing his features as he pulled the coat closer to himself to make more heat.

"And there's the address, Mark just sent it through," Jaemin mumbled while dragging Jeno towards a promenade-set restaurant.

As they stood there watching the sea, the subtle reflection of the sun peaking from behind the overbearing clouds caused a smile to play on their lips.

As both Jeno and Jaemin shared a look, they knew that this would be a promising new year indeed.....
