Watching as Jeno got dragged away, Jisung stood up, racing over to Jaemin while ignoring the glare he received from Donghyuck.
Jinsoo knew now anyway. What was the point in hiding anything from Donghyuck? He was just a pawn in Jinsoo's evil game. A game that Jisung was unsure of how to play.
"Your apartment, now!" Jisung had to say no more before Jaemin stood from his seat, ignoring the time on his watch that read lecture time.
He stumbled to catch up with the taller, sucking in a deep breath when he caught eyes with Mark and Donghyuck.
Donghyuck wore an irritated expression. His eyes holding a foreign emotion to Jaemin. Pure hatred.
He didn't even know the brunette, yet Donghyuck seemed to know a fair bit about the Jaemin.
"Ignore him. He's just being spiteful," Jisung hummed, voice low and concentrated as his furrowed brows made his forehead crease.
"Spiteful about what?" Jaemin mumbled, tearing his gaze from the sandy-blonde adult and setting it back on the pinkette who was slightly ahead if him.
Releasing a huff of distaste, Jisung tilted his head back tiredly, eyes glancing over the older expectantly before facing forward once again, hands delved into the pockets of his sweatpants to clasp onto his phone.
"He's jealous of Jeno for taking Jinsoo's attention. He's that bastard's right hand man, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's hurt Jeno as well." His voice held the clear quality of unfiltered rage as the words slipped through his gritted teeth.
Jaemin nodded wearily, mind aching agonisingly at the lack of sleep, and the overload of information that was being drop fed to him daily.
"You okay man? You seem," Jisung paused a moment turning around to see the blonde swaying slightly on the spot. He hadn't noticed that Jaemin had stopped walking.
His face changed from fury to that of an anxious and concerned expression.
Jaemin didn't want to seem weak though, and he was desperate to help his neighbour at any cost, so with the little energy he could muster in his weakened state, he held still.
His swaying ceased as he clasped and unclasped his sweating palms.
"I'm fine. Just a little sleep deprived," he chuckled, lowering his head to push his blackening vision to the side.
Jisung, who stood unconvinced by the older's side, relaxed his expressions.
"It all leads back to Jinsoo and Jeno at the end of the day, doesn't it?" The pinkette mumbled, wrapping his arm around Jaemin's waist for support if it was needed.
"Tell me about it..."
Jaemin rested his head on the younger's shoulder for a moment, holding his breath for a quick moment before exhaling reluctantly.
"Let's go and plan out this rescue party. Shall we?" He muttered exhaustedly whilst taking a staggering step forward.
Jisung unwrapped his arm from around the shorter's waist, stepping back hesitantly to see if he could walk alone.
Once that test was successful, they continued the journey to the apartment block, taking it slower than before.

"So you've known him since he was cute little kid?" Jaemin asked, sticking the key into the door.
"Cute?" Jisung questioned, eyes wide with the open comment. "I mean he was possibly the most adorable kid, but are you even allowed to say that?" He continued, holding his hand over his mouth innocently.
Jaemin cooed at the younger's actions, having grown a little closer over the swift walk home.
The walk was slightly longer than usual, but that was due to the fact that Jaemin felt like death itself. Jisung would occasionally take the boy's weight, preventing him from blacking out.
To say the least, Jaemin was in dire need of sleep, and Jisung was a adamant that he was going to get it.
"I mean who's going to tell him I said it?" The blonde cheekily murmured, locking eyes with the taller before winking.
Humming at the odd behaviour, Jisung let his mind drift to his friend who possibly stood above him at this moment. He could only imagine the torture he was going through.
"Please try to not get shaken up if the yelling starts," Jaemin sighed, leading the younger into the famous kitchen area, where he spent most his sleepless nights in.
Jisung nodded provisionally, knowing that he couldn't stop what he was going to feel if the yelling did indeed commence.
"Welcome to my humble abode. This is where I have spent the last three or nearly four harrowing months," he paused a moment, glancing around the unusually clean room. "Do make yourself settled."
Jisung let our a hearty chuckle at Jaemin's statement, accepting the older's kindness gratefully.
"Well Jaemin, I do hope that we can kindle a friendship during this period of time," the younger continued, putting on an accent to match the one Jaemin had just used.
"As do I."
