It was calm and peaceful in the crypt at Casterly Rock. Only the faint crackling of the torches attached to the stone walls could be heard. And the steps of Tyrion Lannister.

The little man paused in front of Lord Tywin's sarcophagus. Tyrion imagined how annoyed his father would be if he knew that his hated dwarf son was now the new lord of Casterly Rock. The thought was extremely satisfying.

He went on until he stood in front of the two newest graves. Tyrion, Hand of the King and Warden of the West, sighed sadly. King Bran had allowed him to travel to Casterly Rock so that he could see that there and in the Westlands were all right. Fortunately, new veins of gold had been discovered in the Lannister's territory, so that Tyrion could hope to restore his house to its former glory.

The dwarf looked at the sarcophagi of Cersei and Jaime, which had been placed next to each other, as it is only really done with spouses. They had come into this world together and left it together when the Red Keep collapsed over them as a result of Daenerys Targaryen's attack. Now they rested side by side for eternity. That's how it should be.

Tyrion felt tears run down his cheeks. Unlike his father and sister, Jaime had always been good to him and had done his best to protect his little brother from the meanness of others. Cersei, on the other hand ... well, in spite of everything, she was still Tyrion's sister. And she loved her children.

The quiet in the crypt was suddenly disturbed when someone called in from the entrance: "Lord Tyrion, please come quickly! A raven has arrived from the capital with an urgent message from the king!"

Tyrion glanced one last time at his siblings' graves, then hurried outside. He tore the letter from the hand of the maester who had called him, opened the seal and scanned the text. It was as if his heart would stop and the blood freeze in his veins. In silence, he passed the message to the maester for him to read.

"That cannot be, my lord", said the man, visibly shaken. "It must be a cheat who pretends to be the dead Dragon Queen."

Tyrion pondered the Maester's theory. In Volantis and other places in Essos there lived many people whose Valyrian blood was still almost pure. Surely there would be a woman there who looked like Daenerys Targaryen. However, the resurrected Daenerys had ridden Drogon. Of course, theoretically the dragon could have accepted a new rider, but that seemed unlikely to Tyrion, given how closely Drogon was to his mother.

No, his feeling told him that his former queen had indeed returned from the dead, raised by the Red Priests, as had happened with Jon Snow and Beric Dondarrion. And the change of power in Volantis and the proclamation of the "New Valyrian Empire" ... that was clearly Daenerys' handwriting.

"No, it really is Daenerys," Tyrion said firmly.

"But the letter says that she gave birth to twins shortly after she appeared. How can that be?"

"How do you think?", the little lord replied mockingly. "She got fucked nine months before."

The maester seemed stunned. "But... that's fornication! Daenerys wasn't married! How can a queen ..."

"Tell me, didn't you know my sister?", Tyrion snapped at the man. What was a maester's chain doing on such an idiot? "Daenerys Targaryen is neither the first nor the last queen to commit fornication."

And if his suspicions about the father were correct, then incest had also been involved.

Tyrion abandoned the maester and began preparing to leave for King's Landing. The Small Council needed to get together as soon as possible and decide what to do about Daenerys. Perhaps they were all in mortal danger now.
