"Alright, everyone in the car." Kyle ordered.
"What about my Tesla?" Jessica whined.
I internally rolled my eyes.
"Oh Jessica, I'm sure your daddy will buy you another one." Kyle mocked.
"Oh my lord, Kyle, let's not do this right now. Jess, we'll figure something out later, okay?" I said.
"Yeah, lets just get to the hospital." Nick told everyone.
Zane agreed with him and hoped in the car. Kyle followed him. Jessica wrapped her arms around Nick's and my shoulders.
We helped her to the G Wagon, she limped all the way there.
"Try not to bleed all over my car." Kyle barked at Jessica.
I could tell Kyle mad for some reason. I didn't completely understand why ...
Once we were all in the car, I strapped on Jessica's seatbelt. It was a tight fit, but we were going to make it work.
"Guys," Jessica muttered, "Don't take me to the hospital."
"What? Why?" Nick blurred out.
"Because. They'll ask questions. They can't find out that I was drinking underage." Jessica explained.
Kyle laughed, "Jessica, do you know how stupid that sounds?"
"No, I get where she's coming from. But ... we should probably go to the hospital." Zane reasoned.
I didn't know what I thought.
"It should be my decision, right?" Jessica asked us.
True. It should.
"Yeah ... she has a point." I thought out loud.
There was a silence. I could tell everyone was deep in thought.
"Jessica, you're writing yourself a death wish." Kyle murmured.
Oh Kyle. Always talking about death.
"Well ... what are we going to do then?" Nick asked, "None of us really have any medical experience."
False. I did. I had been studying to become a nurse. It was a possibility for me. I didn't know if I trusted myself enough to seriously help someone recover from a car crash. Good lord, what had I gotten myself into?
I kept my mouth shut. I wasn't going to say anything unless I seriously had too ... inside I knew I would have too anyway.
Zane was slightly looking at me from the corner of his eye. I could tell. And apparently so did Kyle.
"Why are you looking at Rae like that?" He asked.
What a nosy dirtbag. Oops. Excuse my language.
"Oh ... uh ..." Zane didn't know how to answer.
That's when everyone stared at me.
"Fine. I'll do it." I sighed.
I mean, what was I supposed to do? Not say or do anything?
"Pff, what experience do you have? Jessica would be better off being helped by me." Kyle laughed.
Zane opened his mouth to defend me, but I wanted to handle this one myself.
"Actually, for the past two years I've been studying physics and biology to prepare for becoming a nurse. I've helped quite a few people recover from terrible incidents, far more than you ever have, Kyle. But thank you for doubting me, I greatly appreciate it." I smirked.
