A Million Miles A Minute

I looked over at Zane and Josh. I needed to stop worrying about them. In the back of my mind, I knew that they were going to be fine.

"Oh and, don't let Vic get to you." Jessica told me, doing the nose scrunch thing that all of the guys thought was adorable.

"Trust me, I won't-" I started to reply.

"What's that supposed to mean, Jessica?" Victoria interrupted, "I think Rae can handle herself. She doesn't really need you coaching."

We looked back over at her.

"Did we ask for your opinion?" Jessica tilted her head.

I glared at her, "Jess is right, nobody asked. Do us all a favor, and just shut your mouth. Please."

"Excuse me?" Victoria looked dead into my eyes, "You have no room to talk, rat."

"I'm the rat? Come on, Victoria. You aren't allowed to call anyone a rat after what you have done." I smiled.

"After what I have done? What have I done?" She asked in that girly, high pitched voice.

"Are you for real right now?" Jessica scuffed.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Lemme break it down for you sweetie. First, you treated me like absolute garbage at school by ripping up my math notes and torturing me. Then, after we were kidnapped, you tried to kill me multiple times with a rock and a dirty knife, you hit on my boyfriend, and you attempted to murder Ashley. Keep in mind, the whole time you were planning on pinning it all on me. After we made it out of the woods, and made it to safety, you worked with a psychopath to try to get me murdered AGAIN."

I cleared my throat, "Oh yeah, and don't lemme forget this, you got me sent to an insane asylum. An insane asylum, Victoria. Don't you dare ever ask me what you have done ever again. You have completely ruined my life, and you haven't even said sorry once. Not even once."

My voice must have gotten louder as I explained the situation, because once I was done, the room had basically fallen silent. To top it all off, everyone was staring at us.

"Shut up." Victoria hissed.

"Or what?" I mocked her, "What are you gonna do?"

Jessica had slowly started backing away.

After a few seconds of silence, I snapped.

"You gonna try to kill me again?" I snarled.

That's when it happened again. It had only happened once in my past. Victoria's eyes turned angry. I had only seen it happen once, when we were in the woods.

I had only seen those eyes when she tried to kill me for the first time with that rock in the woods.

"You better stop before you go to far." She practically whispered.

Because the room was silent, the moment became more intense then it should have.

"What do you have against me? What makes you so mad about me that you just have no shame when it comes to trying to hurt me?" I wondered.

"God, you are just SO IN LOVE WITH YOURSELF. YOU THINK YOU DESERVE THE WORLD, WHEN IN REALITY ... YOU DESERVE NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING." She screamed.

"Ah, a vendetta." I chuckled, "Can you spell it?"

That set her off. Before I could shoot her one last dirty look, she lunged towards me. It all happened so fast I couldn't really tell what was really happening.
