Millions of thoughts started racing through my head. What was going on? What he going to use that knife for? What the heck did he want?
I quickly remembered what Jessica told me. "Don't let him give you a drink".
"Hard pass." I sneered through my gritted teeth.
"Aww, what a shame. I was really hoping to get you dr-" He started to say.
I flinched. He seriously wanted to get me drunk. That's kind.
"Heh, never mind." He smiled.
I didn't say anything. He hopped off the counter, holding his knife tightly in his right hand.
"What do you want?" I rolled my eyes.
He slowly walked towards me. His tall, skinny frame looked really creepy in the dark.
"I got a few orders from a certain someone." He practically whispered to me.
"From who?" I asked him, getting skeptical.
His smile grew larger as he got insanely close to me. I could feel his breath against my cheek.
"You might know him," He started to say, "His name is ... Connor."
My eyes grew wide, "Good lord dude. Why are you friends with that guy?"
He softly touched my shoulder, and I took a step back.
"I wouldn't say we're friends." He smirked, while toying with his knife.
"Well, your talking, right? Yeah, make sure to tell him that I don't regret a single thing that I did." I growled.
"Will do. But ... I do have a question." He told me.
"What?" I sighed.
There was a silence.
"Why didn't you tell me you were dating Zane Lennon?" He asked me angrily.
I laughed, "What the heck? Why is that any of your business?"
"Because. Bro, I would have been so much meaner to you."
"Well darn."
"You say that, I say that's a missed opportunity."
"Kyle, your life is a missed opportunity."
His lips slightly parted. He was shocked. I was shocked myself. Had I actually just said that? I tried my best to stop myself from smiling.
"How did you even find out, anyway?" I wondered.
"Rae, the walls in this cursed house are paper thin. Everybody knows that." Kyle informed me.
"Ok, well I didn't."
"Good."
I rolled my eyes again. This was just getting stupid.
"Connor told me to kill you." Kyle told me.
"That's original." I said sarcastically.
"Yeah, and I wasn't going to ..." He trailer off.
"Ok, then why are you still holding that ridiculous knife?" I smirked.
"Because, I want something from you." He smirked back at me in a mocking way.
My brain tried thinking of what he could possibly want from me.
"Money? Do you want money? Because if you do, sorry bud, I'm broke." I looked down at the floor.
