"Morning!" Finn smiled cheerily as he walked into Wyatt's office in his dapper suit with his satchel slung over his shoulder, his phone in one hand and a drink carrier with two Starbucks coffees in the other; a hot cappuccino for Wyatt and an iced coffee for Finn.
He was greeted by Reagan and Hailey as he approached the front reception desk, both blondes smiling widely at him; though he was cynical of them at first being naturally weary of pretty blond girls, in the two week since he'd started working there, Finn had come to realize that he'd judged them prematurely. They were actually really sweet and soon became his closest work friends.
"Good Morning." The twins said simultaneously, glancing between their screen and the handsome dark haired boy in front of them.
"Aren't you glad it's Monday?" Asked Reagan, flashing Finn a knowing look.
"Kill. Me. Now." Finn leant against the front desk with a huff, dramatically rolling his eyes as he heard the sudden soul crushing, and very distinct sound of a Grindr notification going off in his blazer pocket. He hated having to take his phone off silent so he could get Wyatt's calls and messages whenever he needed something; but thankfully Finn held some semblance that there was likely nobody in the office that'd actually recognize the sound of a Grindr notification.
"Look at you, getting dick early on a Monday morning." Hailey smirked, earning her a dismissive chuckle from Finn; the smile dropping from his face, only to be replaced by a look of sheer shock and horror as he mentally processed what the pretty blond had just said. "Oh don't give me that look, I know that sound."
"You do... You... You do!? Wait... HOW?!" Stammered Finn as he blinked rapidly in pure confusion.
"Our brother is pansexual." Reagan chimed in nonchalantly before returning back to clicking away on the computer.
"And... You're... Okay with it??" Finn lowered his voice, his brows furrowed as he probed further.
"Yeah." Both girls said simultaneously.
"Our family is super liberal." Hailey admitted with a knowing look in her eyes. "Well, by small-town-Georgia standards; so we're just moderate Democrats."
"Wait... You're both..." Finn gestured between the two girls, lowering his voice to a whisper. "Democrats?!" He asked, earning him a nod from both. "Oh my God, me too!"
"We know." The twins responded simultaneously again, as Finn took a double take.
"Bless your heart, did you honestly think nobody knew?!" Hailey teased him with a whisper. "You're literally Finn Callaghan, Senator Callaghan's grandson. Everyone in Georgia basically knows who you are."
"Yeah, Congressman Montgomery even had a mandatory staff meeting before you got here telling us that nobody was to treat you any different because of who you are or your political views." Whispered Reagan. "He said to treat you with respect like every other employee here."
"Interesting..." Finn narrowed his eyes between the two girls; he didn't know what to make of any of this. On the one hand he admired Wyatt for wanting to look out for him, but at the same time he wasn't a child and he hated that Wyatt was taking extra steps to coddle him. "Well, on that note. If I want to remain an employee here, I should probably get the Congressman his coffee." Finn rolled his eyes playfully, walking toward the door to the offices.
"Oh that reminds me! The a copy revised tax bill was sent for Congressman Montgomery" Hailey called out to him. "It's in your mailbox and you'll need to read through it and highlight the key parts to brief him on. Some of the strategists will probably meet with him to discuss the Georgia specific logistics of it too, so you'll need to work that into his schedule."
