Finn ran walked briskly and hurriedly towards the House Chambers, careful not to spill the coffee he had held in his hand, nor drop the file that he had securely tucked under his arm. He let out a huff as he glanced around, scanning his surroundings for the familiar blond haired man he was looking for. It had only been three days of him working for Wyatt and he could already feel his thighs killing him from all the running around.
By now he was quite used to the ins and outs of his job; doing laps around the Capitol Building, dropping things off to other Congressmans' offices, picking things up from offices, running back to the office to get files and important documents that Wyatt may have forgotten ot are into committee meetings or the House of Representatives floor. And when he wasn't running around he was in the office As much as Finn hated to admit it, it was almost hellish looking for a generically attractive white man in a black suit and tie in a sea of generically attractive white men in black suits and ties.
"Looking for someone?" Finn flinched slightly as he heard an unfamiliar voice beckon him softly from behind. Turning around he locked eyes with another handsome man with dark black hair, tanned skin and mysterious dark eyes. He was attractive, but from the way he carried himself, it seemed as though he was well aware of it.
"Oh um I..." Finn blinked away the confusion rapidly as he focused in on the attractive guy.
"I know, it's hard to find them when they're all congregated like that. Like looking for a single penguin amongst a whole herd of penguins." The man said nonchalantly in jest. "Say, you got a boyfriend or something?"
"I'm flattered, but I'm kinda on a mission here..." Finn glared teasingly at the man; as flattered as he was, he really needed to get this file and coffee to Wyatt ASAP.
"Whoa there, fiesty." The man smirked at him amusedly. "So, Does Fiesty have a name?"
"Depends, why do you want to know?" Finn smirked flirtatiously at him; if there was one thing Finn knew all too well it was how to get people to do his bidding by doing nothing more than batting his eyelashes, smiling, and biting his lower lip. Not to say he didn't find this tall-dark-and-handsome stranger attractive, but a part of him enjoyed knowing his attractiveness and charm could control men.
"Thought we could be friends... Or more..." The man shrugged, cocking an eyebrow at Finn with an amused chuckle. "I'm Hudson. Are you new here?" The man extended his hand towards Finn.
"Finn." He reciprocated the smile, placing his hand in the taller man's for a brief yet oddly sexually tense handshake. "Yeah, I'm Congressman Montgomery's new intern. Just started a few days ago"
"Oh..." The man furrowed his brow, recognizing the name of the young new shining star of the Republican Party. "Didn't peg you for right wing."
"Oh god no, I'm not. It's a long story." Finn chuckled defensively, though something inside him told him not to tell Hudson too many details.
"Finn! There you are. Jesus, I've been waiting for you!" Finn cocked his head to the side to see Wyatt glaring at him and Hudson, hands folded over his chest as he tapped his leather dress shoes impatiently.
"Oh! Right sorry, I got your coffee and that file you asked for." Finn stammered nervously, handing the angry blond man his things; though Wyatt's scrutinizing glare remained steadfast upon Hudson.
"I gotta run, but It was nice meeting you Finn, I'll see you around." Hudson winked at the smaller boy. "And I'd love to hear that long story sometime... How about lunch one day?"
"I'd like that." Finn said sweetly with a smile as he watched the dark haired man walk away smoothly. He turned his attention back towards Wyatt, flinching slightly as he caught glimpse of the handsome blond glaring daggers at him.
