*Disclaimer*
This is not a real chapter, this is just for explaining the relationships between some of my main danganronpa characters in this story! Oh and you don't have to read this, if you wanna skip this explanation page there's not much you'll miss! It's just so you can get a better understanding of the characters and the way they feel towards each other! Also, this is full of spoilers for only the previous chapters, so don't read if you haven't read chapters 1-7. Enjoy!

Kokichi/Shuichi
~Shuichi genuinely adores Kokichi, but is horrible about showing his emotions
~Kokichi has had a HUGE crush on Shuichi for a very long time now
~The two of them are not on speaking terms at the moment after chapter 2
~Kokichi was originally interested in Shuichi because he could actually see through Kokichi's lies, making their relationship more fun
~They both miss each other very much
~Shuichi thinks about Kokichi every day, almost all the time
~Kokichi thinks about Shuichi every night before bed, but lies and tells Rantaro that he doesn't like him anymore

Shuichi/Rantaro
~They DESPISE each other
~Shuichi hates Rantaro for being so close to Kokichi and for what he said in chapter 7
~Rantaro wants to get rid of Shuichi so he can have Kokichi to himself, because he knows he still likes Shuichi
~Rantaro is the antagonist of the story, and he's the main conflict between Kokichi and Shuichi

Kokichi/Rantaro
~Kokichi finds Rantaro as a good friend, using him to fill the gap in which Shuichi used to be (since he doesn't have any other Friends)
~Rantaro is mostly friends with Kokichi to stir up trouble, be he does enjoy being his friend
~Kokichi does not know this friendship is toxic
~Rantaro lets Kokichi rant about his problems and how mad he is at Shuichi to him
~In the end, they are just close friends (But Rantaro wants more)

Shuichi/Kaito/Maki/Mui
~They are all close friends
~Shuichi sees these three as his only actually friends in the game (Since he and Kokichi aren't talking and Kaede is dead)
~They all bonded a lot over the picnic in chapter 6
~Mui still has no knowledge of Kaito and Maki's kiss
~Maki and Kaito still don't know Shuichi saw them kissing
~None of them have any knowledge about Shuichi's relationship with Kokichi and Rantaro

Kaito/Maki
~They are not in a relationship, but Maki and Kaito did kiss behind the picnic trees in chapter 6
~Maki and Kaito fight a lot about almost anything
~They bonded a lot over setting up the picnic for everyone since it was only the two of them working on it
~They both like one another, but they each refuse to admit it

Kokichi/Mui/Kaito/Maki
~Kaito, Maki, and Mui don't get along well with Kokichi, and honestly, nobody really does
~Mui and Kokichi bicker back and forth a lot during class trails
~Kaito is constantly challenging Kokichi when Kokichi gets overconfident
~Maki often questions Kokichi on his lies, only half the time exposing a lie of his
~In the end, nobody in the group gets along well with Kokichi

Shuichi/other living characters
~Shuichi is very trusted amongst everyone
~Durning class trails, everyone turns to Shuichi for guidance
~Shuichi tries to be kind with everyone but gets quite awkward in almost all situations with the people he isn't very close to
~Shuichi is very popular and widely trusted among the rest of the cast

Kokichi/other living characters
~Kokichi isn't trusted by ANYONE other than Shuichi (and somewhat Rantaro)
~Most of the cast dislikes Kokichi because of his constant bothering during trails and pranks
~In the end, Kokichi isn't very liked and is most ignored, showing why he only has one friend and the moment
