Shuichi POV~

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU KIDS?!"

The others and I all woke up we revived no word of any murders that had taken place. We made our way to the dining hall and for the luck of it, everyone was assembled there. This meant that through the full night no one had taken advantage of the Motive, which was a great relief. But somehow... I still felt myself yearning for an explanation for my mystery note, pleading that anyone would come forward and claim it was them. Even if just to say it was all a joke, It would remove a large weight upon my shoulders to know it wasn't a true threat. But not a single person said a word. No one asked me away from the group, no one shot me a quick side glance, and no one even made the slightest of notations to implicate they knew anything. Nothing. We spent the reaming hours together in the dining hall to keep a check on each other, which I had suggested. After only 2 hours, we were relieved to know that we had reached the completion of the 24 hours and that us remaining students hadn't resorted to murder. That brings us to where we are now, standing in the gym, restlessly getting an ear full from Monokuma.

"I give you all this perfect motive and none of you take the bait?!" He was almost hysterical in the way he yelled, digging his sharp claws into the base of the birch podium. "Do any of you want to leave this place?" I couldn't tell if the question was rhetorical, but slowly each student raised their arm above their head. "Then act like it!" I do sometimes wonder... I muted the sounds around me as I lost myself in thought, Monokuma continued to shout but I blocked him out too. What would happen if we didn't have another murder? I mean, for at least a considerable amount of time no one killed... would we all be released? How could
this game function without its main gear? And considering the fact that Monokuma keeps pushing us into these motives makes it's pretty obvious he's getting a bit antsy...

"I'm just gonna have to keep coming up with motives until one of you wimps decides to actually go in for the kill!" I brought my attention back to the real world to listen to Monokuma continuously rant. "This is just getting out of hand now... Almost 2 weeks and no new murders, what is up with you kids?" No one spoke up. We had all learned not to speak out of turn to Monokuma, and honestly, most of us are quite scared of him. I mean, even the idea of a living teddy bear with the power to end all of our existence doesn't sit too well with me.

"I want all of you out of my sight while I develop more motives, got it? And I promise you," Monokuma's eyes seemed to radiate warm, red light as his demeanor would change along with his words. "If one of you doesn't get to killing soon, you'll all be paying for it." Well, that might get in the way of my savior idea... the other students began to slowly file out of the gym one by one, including Kokichi and myself. Even with new concerns approaching us every day, my main focus was still on that letter. I wonder if there's some way I could use my detective skills to my advantage... I unintentionally began to lose myself in thought yet again. If I could just figure out who sent it, I would be able to stop them before anything serious could happen. Especially because they said even after the motive had ended, they would still try to- I noticed Kokichi take a sharp left as we exited the gym, most likely heading for his own room. Shit!

Before having a second thought, I called out to him to get his attention. "Kokichi, hold up!" The boy spun around briskly, his hair bouncing near his shoulders due to his hurried movement. "Yeah, Shuichi?" I was a little surprised with myself for so suddenly yelling after him, but I quickly tried to gather my words to form some sort of explanation. "H-How about we head back to your room for a bit? I don't have anything to do today..."
