*This Chapter Includes Lots of Yelling and Cussing*
Shuichi POV~

That voice... That's... my eyes shifted to the door and my pupils shrank as I saw him. The purple haired boy leaning against the library's open door, pure horror over his face. No... No no no no... I turned back to Rantaro to see him smiling brightly and me. Oh my god... this was his plan all along. He sat here and waited for me just to provoke me into attacking him... just so Kokichi could see. "G-Get off him!" Kokichi stuttered. I immediately let go of Rantaro's shirt and let him fall to the floor. I can't believe this is happening... the room began to swirl and spin, my eyes couldn't focus on a single thing. I dug my nails into the rotted wood planks of the floor as my eyes began to fill with tears. This was all a setup.

"Rantaro!" Kokichi bolted to Rantaro and dropped to his knees before him. "Are you ok?!" Rantaro slowly pulled himself up and rested on the backs of his hands dramatically "Yeah... yeah I'm fine" Kokichi angrily looked up at me, his soft violet eyes now so... devilish. "What's wrong with you?!?" Kokichi hollered. I couldn't even mutter a word... I was still too shocked. I looked up to meet Kokichi's glare and saw the pain in his eyes. He rested his hands on each of Rantaro's shoulders and began to help him up. I just sat on the floor shaking and silently crying, unable to process what had just occurred. "You're a monster!" Kokichi's voice cracked as he cried out to me. His pale face had turned a startling shade of red as he screamed at me. "Ouma-Kun... please... listen-" I begged, trying my hardest not to choke while I gasped for air in between each cry. "No!" Kokichi yelled back "I'm done with hearing what you have to say!" I couldn't even hear my own thoughts anymore. All I could hear was Kokichi's pain ridden voice screaming at me. "You know," Kokichi's tone changed suddenly and he glared down at me on the floor, his eyes still tear filled. "Everyone hates me so much, but you yourself are a piece of shit too." I was startled at this reaction, this was not something I expected. I wanted to explain but I couldn't even find my voice, I just kept sitting on the floor clutching my shirt and crying. "You get everyone to love you and then you hurt them like this! I thought you were-" he stopped, tears now streaming down his face. "I thought you were my friend..." he said quietly.

My heart shattered. Tears flowed endlessly down my face and collected on the floor, seeping through the wooden planks. "Ouma P-Please-" "Don't talk to me anymore." Kokichi cut my sentence short. "I don't want to be friends anymore." He said coldly. I watched as he worried over Rantaro as they walked to the exit, holding tightly onto his arm. Kokichi opened the doors for the two of them and started to pull Rantaro down the hall, but before left Rantaro turned back a looked at me. He looked like pure evil. The lighting in the library only showed the side of his face, but I could see his ominous eyes glowing as he looked down at me. The corners of his mouth twisted into this horrifying smile, and his eyebrows tensed up to make his expression even more unsettling. His smile widened to reveal his teeth as he winked at me before getting pulled out of the library by Kokichi.

This...This is a new low. I was having trouble finding my breath as I continued to silently cry on the floor, only making slight sounds when I gasped for air. How did I let this happen? I can't even fix it now! It's all gone to shit... BECAUSE OF HIM! I let myself fall on the cold Woden floor and sob uncontrollably. I don't think I've ever cried more in my whole life. I couldn't get over this horrid feeling that I would only get when someone dear to me has passed, but this was somehow worse. It was the fact that I felt the same about losing Kokichi as if he was dead... yet he was still out there just beside my grasp. When someone passes away you don't have to see them anymore, therefore Lessing the pain of knowing they are gone, but when you lose someone as I have... you still have to see them smiling and laughing every single day... without you. And there's nothing you can do to fix it.

I have no idea how long I had been laying on the floor crying for but a sudden announcement came over the loudspeakers

"It's now 10 pm, which means it's time to stay in for the night! Orrrrr time to get away with murder puhuhuhu. But really YOU GUYS ARE BORING TO WATCH! JUST GET DOWN TO THE DIRTY WORK!"

I was here for that long?  I thought to myself I need to get back to my room then. I slowly got off the floor and used the coffee table's edge to help me get back on my feet. I could feel the imprint on my hand in my cheek as I had been using it to hold my head up while I cried. I don't even care about the book anymore, I just want to go to sleep. I silently strolled through the dark halls back to my room, trying to calm myself down a bit. I reached my room and quietly opened my door as to not alert anyone I was still awake. I wonder what he's doing right now... I didn't even try to stop myself from thinking about Kokichi now, there wasn't much more damage that could be done. I dragged myself to the bathroom and began to get ready for the night. I sloppily brushed my teeth and spat into the sink, my eyes meeting the mirror as I pulled my head up. How did I get like this? My face was puffy and red around the eyes, and you could see clear marks on my face where tears had been falling there over and over again.  My hair was in a total mess due to me laying on that uncomfy floor for so long. I look like shit. I changed into my nightwear and flopped face down onto the bed, almost beginning to cry again. This is it. I have completely lost him. I messed it up so bad to the point that the boy with no friends refuses to be mine. I shuffled in my place and rolled over to my side, now facing the door. If only I could tell him what really happened. I sat there for a minute in silence just thinking about my last thought. Well... why don't I? I propped myself up and stared at the closed door to my room. Without a second thought, I unlocked it and began down the hallway to Kokichi's room.

I know I'm probably the last person you want to hear from right now Kokichi... but I need to tell you the truth. You have to know what really happened. I squinted my eyes trying to navigate my way through the empty dark halls to Kokichi's room. Everything was so dimly lit I could only make out the name tags of some rooms. There it is! I stood before Kokichi's room, starting at his nameplate and starting to second guess myself. What if he freaks out to see me hear and yells at me, causing everyone to wake up? What if it only makes him hate me more? What-What if... what if he forgives me? That last thought made me feel a little more at ease. If I don't do anything then nothing is going to change at all, but maybe I can try and salvage this. I took a deep breath and reached my hand out to knock on the door, only to abruptly stop myself. The-the door... the door was slightly cracked open, the handle half broken off as if... someone had broken inside.
