Chapter Twelve-Take a Drink

Pain was an intresting thing. You can feel it mentally or physically. You can feel it mentally and that can make you want to feel it physically. Peter hated that. He couldn't hurt himself anymore or the others would find out how much of a burden he really is. They would be angry and probably kick him out of the team and make him live by himself. All he had left was music. He could try to drink but people would notice that. Tony keeps track of his liquor very closely so someone has to buy him more if they take it even though he's a billionaire.

I would put myself right beside you

So let me ask would you like that...

He wished he had someone who would stay beside him. He knew he couldn't let that happen or they would die. He couldnt get close to anyone without them getting hurt, or so he thought.

The moment you arrived

They built you up

He couldnt relate to this song but man he loved Brendons voice. It was calming.

Peter got up and sighed. He headed to his door and tiptoed out. As he slowly crept his way towards the kitchen he heard a door open nearby and jumped against the wall as quietly as possible and jumped once more to the ceiling. Steve walked past to the kitchen. Peter heard the faucet running then Steve went back to his and Bucky's room.

Once everything was silent for a minute Peter made his way back to to the floor. And silently went to the kitchen. He took a seat on a stool at the counter.
He was suffering more than usual. He needed something to disrupt his terrible thoughts.
He looked over longingly at the knife holder and its contents knowing he couldnt use them. Sighing he placed his head in his hands letting the thoughts take over for the time being.

Why dont you end it?
I dont know...
Who would miss you?
No one...
No one would miss me...

Peter lifted his head, sliding his hands down over his eyes then to the counter top. His eyes spotted something and he remembered one of the songs he was listening to.

Emptied all the bottles till the pain went away.

Whiskey was his friend

He didnt have another

He reached over to the closest of Tony's bottles. The carmel colored liquid looked inviting at the thought of it pushing away the voice, even just for a little while.
Not even bothering to grab a cup he twisted the cap off and lifted the  bottle to his lips. Taking a deep breath he took a drink. He hated the flavor and it burned going down his throat, but it also brought a slight feeling of comfort. He took several more sips. The thing about whiskey was that it burned for a reason. It had a pretty high alcohol precentage.

He turned the half empty bottle to 3 quarters empty and he felt drowsy. He stood up and stumbled, dropping the bottle with a crash. "motherfuck" he mumbled drunkenly out.
He tried to make his way to his room but the alcohol took hold of him and he fell. Steve entered the room and saw Peter "what the hell was that noise? Are you okay?" Tony walked in after and saw the bottle.
"HOLY SHIT KID, THATS STRONG STUFF!"
He lifted the boy and carried him to the nearest bathroom. Natasha and Bruce followed shortly behind while Steve talks to everyone else that woke up from either the bottle crashing or Peter falling.
He placed the teen in front of a toilet as he woke up and felt dizzy. "I-I'm sorry Mr. Starkkkkk" he said while stumbling over his words.
"Hey kid it's alright. Everyone gets curious" he said pointing to the toilet. "If you gotta throw up use that".

After everything was sorted out Tony helped Peter to his room and made sure he was asleep before leaving.

Dammit I should have watched out for this more!

Hey guyssss hope you liked this chapter. It's pretty short but I'm not very inspired today. The next chapter I'm hoping will be at least a thousand words so be ready for that
