Zac had just taken his seat in his homeroom. Later Zoe came in with a smile and sat down next to him.
"Hey Zac."
"Hey." Zac nodded. Their teacher came in and started talking but Zac couldn't pay attention.
"Hey, where did you go on Saturday?" Zac whispered to Zoe.
"What are you talking about?"
"Saturday at the lake you just disappeared. You also disappeared at Emmit's house. Where did you go?"
"I was exploring the place. I never just explore places, I always party without taking the time to stop and smell the roses." Zoe shrugged.
"Since when do you-"
"Mr McGregor would you please stop talking long enough for me to finish?" The teacher scolded the boy and he nodded apologetically.
After the bell rang Zoe got up and left and Zac walked after her.
"You're hiding something Z and I'll find out what it is." Zac told the the girl who just shrugged.
"Knock yourself out kid." Zoe smirked stopping at her locker and grabbing her backpack.
"Were you hooking up with someone?" Zac asked seriously.
"Hooking up with.....Why would I.... Hell no! Are you out of your mind?!"
"It's okay you can tell me. I promise I won't tell anyone about it." Zac put his right hand over his heart and raised his left hand in the air.
"You're disgusting. Why would you even ask me that?"
"So you did hook up with someone."
"No you idiot. Listen to me clearly. I did not hook up with anyone." Zoe said sternly before walking away towards her next class.
"She definitely hooked up with someone." Zac said to himself before going to his own class which he was running late for.
He walked into his History class a bit late but since the teacher wasn't there yet he was fine.
"Cutting it in quite close there don't you think?" Chloe asked the boy from behind him.
"Yeah......... Since when do you sit behind me?" Zac asked out of curiosity.
"I switched seats with Amber for the day."
"Oh.... Why?"
"I wanted to sit close to you. I had a lot of fun with you on Saturday." Chloe admitted.
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I was hoping I didn't make a fool of myself."
"Not one bit. I liked hanging with you."
Zac was about to say something when the teacher walked in and hushed the class. Zac wasn't a big fan of History so instead of taking notes he was doodling in his note book.
The bell rang and Zac was about to stand up but stopped when he heard what his teacher told the class.
"Okay class we'll be having a little test on Friday so study up."
The whole class groaned before leaving the room. Zac groaning louder than most. He barely payed any attention in that class.
"How the hell am I gonna pass this test?" Zac whispered to himself.
"You can try studying." Chloe suggested.
"Did I say that out loud?" Zac asked and Chloe nodded. "Sorry it's just that I hardly pay any attention in History."
"You want a study buddy?" Chloe offered.
"You know someone who could study with me?"
"Yes."
"Really? Who?" Zac asked excitedly.
"Me dummy. I'll study with you." Chloe chuckled.
"Really?"
"Yes. You're lucky we have study hall together." Chloe smiled before leaving the class.
"Yes!" Zac whisper yelled with a fist pump.
At lunch he was sitting with Samar and Phoebe waiting for the other two to arrive. After a while they finally showed up and sat down.
"Nice of you to finally join us." Phoebe told the two.
"Whatever. So what did we miss?"
"Nothing much, just the fact the my new History study buddy is Chloe effing Brooke." Zac smiled proudly and Aliyah frowned.
"Wow that's great." Zoe said hesitantly. Zoe had known about Aliyah's crush on Zac since the beginning of sophomore year.
The girls were playing truth or dare in her room before going to the lake to hang out with the guys. Zoe and Phoebe found a way to make her admit who her crush was.
"I know right? Now all I have to do is hang out with her a bit more then I can ask her out." Zac said excitedly not even noticing that the girls didn't look all that exited for him.
"Yep then you two can start dating and you'll be friends with her friends. That way you can get me and Martha together." Samar smiled.
"Martha? Please don't tell me you like her." Zac frowned.
"What's wrong with me liking her?"
"She's way too intense man."
"Whatever. I still like her and if you won't help me Phoebe will."
Zac rolled his eyes and took a bite out of his sandwich. That's when he noticed that Zoe didn't have her lunch with her.
"Where's your food?"
"Oh I'm not hungry." Zoe shook her head.
"Why not?" Samar asked.
"I already ate."
"When?" Phoebe frowned.
"That is..... none of your business."
Aliyah gave Phoebe a knowing look before the two started smirking. Zoe started slightly blushing making the the other two girls smile at her.
"What is going on?" Samar whispered to Zac who shrugged.
"Are you blushing because you hooked up with someone and these two know?" Zac asked Zoe who blushed even deeper.
"Oh My......What is wrong with...... Why would you even ask that?!"
"Are you? You know hooking up with....?" Aliyah trailed off.
"No! What is wrong with you people?!" Zoe hid her face in her hands.
"We're just joking Z." Phoebe smiled and Zoe shook her head.
"I hate you people." Zoe said jokingly glaring at her friends.
"We love you too." Aliyah said giving her a side hug.
After all his classes Zac went to the second music room where. He slowly opened the door and saw Naomi at the piano playing and singing. He didn't want her to stop so he just waited for her to stop on her own.
When she finished she got up and walked to a chair and sat down with one of the guitars.
"Hey." Zac greeted pretending like he didn't just hear her singing.
" 'sup weirdo." Naomi nodded in acknowledgement.
"My students!" Mr Hartford yelled walking barging in through the double doors.
He was wearing blue jean shorts, sandals, a white tank top with a blue shark on it, an Aloha shirt and pineapple sunglasses.
"Are you sure you're a certified teacher by the law?" Naomi asked looking at his attire.
"That's what my certificate says." He shrugged before grabbing a guitar and starting his lesson.
