"Okay you two it's three more months until graduation so I expect you to be almost done with your individual assignments." Mr Hartford told his two students.

"To be honest, I haven't started yet. I can't seem to find inspiration. No matter how hard I try." Naomi groaned.

"That's your problem right there. Stop trying. It will come to you when it comes to you." Mr Hartford told her as he gave her a guitar.

"What about you Zac?" Naomi looked over to the boy.

"Same. Why did you have to give us such hard assignments?" Zac asked Mr Hartford who just rolled his eyes.

"They may be hard but I wouldn't have given them to you if I didn't think you couldn't handle it. Now to more pressing matters. You guys have to take a test so I can keep my job."

"A test? What kind of test?" Naomi raised an eyebrow.

"A written test then you have to play some instruments. Nothing that hard." Mr Hartford shrugged.

"When are we taking this test cause I have an extra credit project to finish by the end of the week." Naomi sighed.

Mr Hartford smiled and chuckled softly making Naomi and Zac raise their eyebrows at him.

"What's so funny?" Zac asked.

"You two. You're both so busy with school, I just imagined what your faces will look like once you realize that you're finally done with it. That you're growing up."

"You're not normal." Naomi shook her head.

Once he finished with his laughter he started their lesson. Once it was over like usual they walked out and waited for Chloe, Zoe and Martha at the bottom of the steps.

"Hey you two." Chloe smiled at the two before giving Zac a hug.

"Ugh. Gross." Martha gagged making Naomi snicker. A second later Martha got a text and snickered at it and bit her lip.

"Look who's talking." Chloe smirked.

"The dork doesn't count." Martha glared.

"I think he does cuz." Naomi smirked.

"Don't make me murder you just when graduation is around the corner." Martha threatened and Naomi raised her hands up in surrender.

"Come on we have to finish our extra credit projects." Zoe told Naomi. "See you guys tomorrow."

"Bye." Naomi waved as she and Zoe left.

"See ya later. You two need a ride?" Zac asked Martha and Chloe.

"Yeah, actually we do." Chloe smiled.

"Just don't flirt in front me or I swear I'm gonna jump out the window." Martha warned.

"You have my word." Zac told her.

"Okay then McGregor. Let's go." Martha gave him a slight smile before making her way towards his car.

"She just smiled at me. Did you see that? She just smiled at me and there was no trace of sarcasm at all." Zac said excitedly making Chloe giggle.

"Okay Zac let's go." Chloe smiled leading him to his car.

After dropping Martha and Chloe off Zac got himself and Jessica smoothies before going back home. When he got home he found Jessica talking to Aliyah.

"Hey. I didn't know you were coming over. I didn't see your car outside." Zac said looking at Aliyah quizzically.

"Oh, Markus dropped me off. He's going to pick me up later." Aliyah smiled.
