"Finally!" Samar yelled as he walked out the auditorium making Martha giggle softly.

"Do you have to yell?" Martha asked pretending to be annoyed.

"Of cause I have to yell. That was the last one. That was the last paper. No more studying." Samar said dramatically dropping to his knees.

"You're so dramatic." Martha chuckled.

"Yeah but you like that I'm dramatic." Samar smirked.

"You wish Reynolds." Martha playfully rolled her eyes before walking away.

Samar got up and followed her. He passed her and walked backwards in front of her. "Oh come on. Not even a little?"

Martha smiled at him and rolled her eyes playfully at him. "You're a real piece of work you know that?"

"I try, I try." Samar smiled proudly.

He was so busy focusing on Martha that he didn't see the floor sign behind him and slipped.

"Oh My Gosh, are you okay?" Martha asked him trying to hold in her laughter.

"Damn I always find myself falling for you." Samar said as he tried to get up but slipped once again.

"You're ridiculous." Martha smiled helping him up off the floor.

"You have surprisingly soft hands." Martha said looking at their intertwined hands.

"Thanks." Samar said. Martha looked up at him and locked eyes with him.

"What are you guys doing?"

They both turned to see Zoe and Naomi standing behind Martha with raised eyebrows.

"Nothing." Martha said pulling her hands away from Samar.

"You keep telling yourself that." Naomi mumbled but Martha heard her.

"What do you want?" Martha sighed folding her arms over her chest.

"Chloe says we should head to the park after school." Naomi told them.

"Come on, we still have to go help with the yearbook." Zoe told Naomi who groaned.

"Oh and cuz, you should really lay off the blush. Your cheeks are so rosy." Naomi whispered before walking away with Zoe.

"Come on let's go." Samar said and Martha nodded.

After school they all made their way to the park. They were all there except for Zac and Chloe.

"They called us here and they're late, great." Phoebe rolled her eyes going through her instagram.

"This better be worth the wait." Toby sighed going through his own instagram.

"Here they come." Aliyah said pointing at the couple walking out of Zac's car with bags of food and drinks.

"Sorry we're late. The guy at the store was super slow at packing the bags." Zac apologized setting the bags on the ground where everyone was sitting.

"What's all this?" Markus asked pointing at the bags.

"This is a little celebration. We are finally done writing our last paper." Chloe smiled tossing a bag of gummy bears at Martha.

"I love you so much right now." Martha smiled opening the bag of candy.

"I thought you loved Samar." Naomi whispered to her cousin who turned to her and glared.

"I wouldn't use the word love." Martha whispered back still glaring.

"So in other words you like him but you don't love him.......yet." Naomi whispered.

"I'm not doing this with you today." Martha said getting up and sitting next to Chloe who had a smug smile on her face.

"Ugh." Aliyah groaned and everyone looked at her.

"What's up?" Markus asked him.

"I have to do an extra credit project for physics class."

"Why?" Zac raised an eyebrow.

"I need a passing grade and if I don't do this project I'll fail physics. It's on the school website. You, Samar and Phoebe also have to do extra credit projects."

"Ugh. On what?" Phoebe groaned.

"Lit for you. Math for Samar. History and Music for Zac." Aliyah shrugged.

"I get History, I suck at it. Music is the one I don't get." Zac frowned.

"You never gave the crazy man your essay remember?" Naomi asked as she tried to grab Martha's gummy bears.

"Right, I forgot about that. Lucky for me I finally know what to write in that essay." Zac smiled proudly.

"And I'll help with your History." Chloe smiled at him giving him a kiss on the cheek making Martha gag.

"Emmit's having a party Saturday. You guys in?" Phoebe asked.

"Of cause we're in. Who would miss the pens down party?" Samar asked.

"Naomi." Everyone else except for Naomi answered.

"Seriously? Just for that I'm going to be there." Naomi frowned.

"Good." Zoe smiled at her giving her a little nudge.

The next day Zac went to the music room looking for Mr Hartford.

"Hey Zac. How can I help you?" Mr Hartford asked looking up from the paper in his hand.

"Here. I wrote my essay last night. It's not that long but I think it answers the question you asked me." Zac told him handing him a paper.

"I'll grade it for you."

Zac smiled before walking out and going to the library to meet up with Chloe so she can help him with his History project.

The person I want to be after I graduate is the person I've always dreamed of being since I was three. I want to be Zachary McGregor: The chef. I want to go to culinary school and stop trying to please my father with everything I do.

Mr Hartford looked at the short essay and smiled. "He finally knows who he wants to be." He went on his laptop and gave Zac an A in music.

Zoe and Naomi were sitting in one of the classrooms with a few seniors waiting for the vice principal to show up.

"Why did you drag me here again?" Naomi sighed looking at Zoe obviously bored.

"My mom kept telling me about how much fun she had editing the yearbook and wouldn't stop yapping until I told her I'd be editing our yearbook."

"That doesn't explain why I'm here though."

"I knew I'd get bored on my own so I thought my girlfriend would love to keep me company. Plus we both know you have nothing better to do so...." Zoe shrugged and Naomi rolled her eyes.

"Doesn't mean I want to spend half my day here." Naomi groaned.

"What's wrong with spending the day here?"

"Seriously? Babe literally half the guys here are serving detention while the others are here because they thought Chloe was volunteering when she wrote my for you on the sign up sheet." Naomi rolled her eyes.

"Well look at it this way, you get to spend half a day with me." Zoe grinned.

"I guess that's kinda cool." Naomi smiled taking Zoe's hand in her own.
