"The park is getting boring. You guys wanna get out of here?" Martha asked the group.
"And go where exactly?" Naomi raised an eyebrow.
"I don't know. Maybe we stop by a convenient store, get some snacks, drive to the lake and skip some rocks." Martha shrugged.
"Sounds good." Markus smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, I could go for some snacks." Phoebe nodded.
"Okay I guess we're leaving." Aliyah nodded before they all got up and made their way to the cars. They drove to a nearby convenient store and got to shopping.
"I want some gummy bears." Martha announced as they got into the store.
"I don't get why you like gummy bears when you only eat the yellow ones. It's weird." Chloe said walking to the fridge with Zac.
"Well I think it's cute." Samar said making Phoebe roll her eyes.
"Never call me cute EVER again Reynolds." Martha said giving him a death glare.
"Sorry." Samar said gulping.
"Leave the boy be. He didn't know you hate being called that." Markus said grabbing Martha's hand and leading her to the candy section.
Naomi was looking over the chips when she felt someone hugging her from behind.
"I thought you hated public displays of affection." Naomi smiled to herself.
"I don't think it counts as PDA if no one can see us." Zoe smiled kissing Naomi's cheek.
"Which chips should I get?" Naomi asked with her left hand on Zoe's arm and her right hand at the back of Zoe's neck.
"Get whatever you want. Just make sure to get me-"
"Salt and vinegar?"
Zoe smiled before nodding. The two had been hanging out for so long that they realized that they liked each other.
Zoe still wanted to find out more about Naomi and Naomi thought there was something special about Zoe that she couldn't explain.
They started dating at the beginning of the week and for some reason telling the others always slipped their minds.
"I'll just get creamy cheddar or something." Naomi sighed with a shrug.
"Did you know you smell like chocolate and new books?" Zoe asked the girl out of the blue.
"You're so weird." Naomi smiled turning around and folding her arms around Zoe's neck.
Zoe smiled shrugging and kissing Naomi's cheek once again. "Then it's a good thing that you like weird."
Naomi hummed looking at the taller girl in her eyes.
"Naomi! Grab your chips so we can go!" Martha was heard yelling from the cash register making Naomi roll her eyes.
"Cousins." Naomi sighed and grabbed four bags of different flavors of chips.
The two walked towards the cash register smiling at each other. Naomi payed for all the chips before they all got into the cars and drove to the lake.
"Okay dorks. Let's see who's the best at skipping rocks." Martha said as soon as they arrived.
"Any oaf can skip a rock." Zoe said.
"I don't think these two oafs can skip a rock." Martha smirked pointing at Zac and Samar.
"I can too skip a stone." Zac whined.
