"So, how do I look?" Sakura asked, cocking out a hip

"Fucking fruity." Tetsurō answered, putting a thumb up. "So, 10/10, would recommend."

"My dear, sweet brother, I thank you, but I must depart." She put a hand on her forehead dramatically. Tetsurō offered an elbow.

"I'll escort you, my dear sister." He remarked, grinning.

"To Ms. Yachi then~" She replied, hooking her arm with him. They walked in silence, her brother humming quietly under his breath before stopping in front of the door leading outside where Yachi was with Kiyoko. Sakura clenched her fist, chin held up high. "It's time." Tetsurō snorted.

"So dramatic, you make it seem like you're going off to war." She flicked him on the nose and he huffed, looking down to see her hand shaking. "You good Kura?" He asked. She nodded.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm good. It's just..you know." She waved her hand around and Tetsurō's face softened.

"I know." He said. "But he's not around anymore, and I know Yachi would never do anything like that."

"Yeah...I know." Sakura murmured before glancing over at him. "I really like her, Tets. I just want this to work out." He pat her head carefully.

"I know you do. And I bet it will. You just have to have faith." He punched her arm softly, untangling his arm. Before she could retort, he opened the door, revealing Kiyoko and a blonde head of hair poking out from behind her. Kiyoko pushed Yachi out from behind her and Sakura was pretty sure her heart stopped.

"Wow." She uttered, making Yachi blush a little. "I--you...you look beautiful." Yachi's hair was down, the front strand braided with a pink elastic. She wore a pair of light blue overalls with a cropped peach shirt underneath.

And were those...?

"Please marry me." Yachi's face bloomed a bright red and she smacked Kuroo's arm, doing a little hop of excitement. "Tets, do you see that? Do you see that? She's wearing cat stockings." Yachi fiddled with the denim.

"Do you...do you like it?" She asked quietly. Kiyoko and Kuroo opted to leave then, Kuroo mouthing a small 'good luck' before disappearing inside with the manager in tow.

"Like it?" Sakura echoed. "I don't think there are words to describe how much I love how you look." She offered her arm. "Shall we? I have a certain spot in mind that I think you'll like a lot." Yachi giggled at this.

"We shall."

~

"Where are we going?" Yachi asked quietly. Sakura sent her a wicked smile.

"You'll see. Don't worry, I really think you'll like it." Yachi swallowed visibly, but followed anyway. Sakura stopped in front of a set of double doors, the building surrounding it looking like a normal cafe. The third-year grabbed the door and swung it open, holding it open for the smaller girl.

Yachi's eyes flicked from the manager to the open doors and stepped in.

She gasped.

She heard the door click behind her and Sakura laugh softly.

"Thoughts?" Yachi blinked, her eyes sweeping over the large circular room. And the...cats. Many, many cats.

In the middle, there was huge cat tree, multiple furry babies lounging on the perches. The floor was carpeted, and loosely placed around the edge were tables, a few occupied some even having a companion stretched out across the table.

"I-wow. This is...this is wow."

"I take it you like it?" Sakura asked. Yachi absentmindedly nodded, already approaching a cat. Sakura snorted at the sight, but followed her anyway. "So, which kitty shall grace your presence tonight?" Sakura inquired. Yachi, who had already carefully picked up a big black cat turned.

"Well, I was hoping you were going to...But this one will do..." Sakura choked, blush rising on her cheeks. "I think I'll name her...Sakura 2.0." Sakura sputtered at this, making the first-year giggle.

"I didn't say I wasn't going to grace your presence!" She squawked. Yachi was laughing then, surprising Sakura. The blonde seemed at ease which, in a way, put Sakura at ease. Seeing her to relaxed made Sakura happy. "Gimme gimme." She cooed, crouching down in front an orange tabby cat. It gave her a questioning trill before trotting over. "The cat is mine." She announced. "I shall name you...Missy, short for Missile Lau-"

"Ah, ma'am." A voice interrupted her staring contest with the feline and Sakura turned, her tongue sticking out. A man wearing black and white clothing with an apron waved a little. "Would you like a table?" He asked. She nodded at this.

"Yeah. A table for two, please." She answered, setting the cat down. Yachi sidled next to her and he shifted his weight to the other foot.

"Right this way." The pair followed him and he brought them to a small table next to a large window in the corner. He passed them two small menus. "To start, what would you like to drink?" Sakura scanned the page before closing it.

"I'd like a cup of mugicha, hot, please." She answered smoothly. He nodded, writing it down on the small notepad in hand before glancing over at Yachi. Her eyes flicked nervously back and forth.

"Um, a cup of milk tea, please."

"Alright, while I'm getting your drinks, feel free to look over the menu for anything to eat." He offered. Sakura nodded and he walked off. Yachi let out a small sigh.

"You okay?" The first-year jumped.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm good." She looked down, embarrassed. "It's embarrassing, but this is really my first date...Ever." She went red. "If that's what this is! I don't want to assume anything!" Sakura laughed softly.

"That's what I was aiming for." She replied. "Are you...Okay with that?" Yachi didn't meet her gaze.

"I'd like that."
