Sakura: Wish me luck Yacchan. We're leaving the house in about, like, five minutes.

Chibi-Chan: I wish you luck! I hope all goes well.

Chibi-Chan: I'm really happy for you, Sakura. This has gotta be nerve-wracking and you're just barreling headfirst into it.

Sakura:

Sakura: I think...I think my heart just stopped.

Chibi-Chan: My, my, how the turntables.

Sakura: Ack!

Sakura: I think it's time to up my game~!

Chibi-Chan: Sakura, no--

~

Yachi flinched as her phone erupted with notifications, giggling to herself quietly. She set her phone down briefly, checking over the big overnight bag sitting on her bed. Alright...I think that's about it. It's only gonna be a night or two, so I don't need to go overboar--Her thoughts were cut off by her phone ringing. Picking it up, her stomach fluttered at Sakura's contact. Swiping over the green icon, she brought the phone to her ear.

"Tis I, the Frenchiest fry~!" Sakura greeted happily. Yachi laughed softly.

"I thought that title belonged to Tsukishima." Sakura snorted on the other side of the line.

"I suppose you're right, Ms. Yacchan." She remarked. "But, aside from that, I think I might puke."

"What? Why?!?" Yachi inquired, concerned. On the other side, Sakura waved her hand in a carefree manner.

"Just going in for a surgery that could take a one-eighty and take away my chances at actually playing a sport again, and that it's going to take around four to six months to heal...Eh, nothing much." She laughed airily. Yachi shook her head.

"You really are carefree sometimes, Sakura." She uttered. "And, um, was that all you called for?"

"Ah, yeah." Sakura muttered. "I just wanted to hear your voice, and get it off my chest that I am scared shitless and your voice really calms me down." Yachi flushed at the compliment.

"Um. Thank you...?" Sakura chuckled.

"I think I'm going to die. Waiting for our next training camp." She admitted. "I really like you, Yachi. And I think I'm getting separation anxiety."

"Oh! Don't think like that or you'll make me nervous. I'm sure we'll see each other soon enough!" She cried.

"Yeah...I know." Sakura mumbled. "And um--"

"Hey, we're almost there, Kura." Kuroo called and Yachi could hear the sound of a blinker.

"Ah, sorry Chibi-Chan. Wish me luck~" Sakura remarked. "I'll talk to you soon, kay?" Yachi took a long look at her bag.

"Yeah, we will. Good luck Sakura!"
