Chapter 22

I woke up around 10:00 in the morning. When I woke up, Veronica is already drinking coffee on the couch while watching TV.

"Oh! Ma'am you're already awake! You want some coffee?" She asked me and showed me her coffee.

"No. I'm fine I don't really drink coffee." I smiled.

"Oh why ma'am?" She asked. I can see the curiosity in her eyes.

"I don't even know." I shrugged my shoulders while scrolling on my phone.

"Ha? Panong hindi niyo po alam?" She's really curious about it. Actually hindi ko din talaga alam kung paano i-eexplain sa kanya.

"Are you aware na na-aksidente ako before?" I looked at her. She almost choked when she heard what I've said. So she's not aware huh? I already told William and Mamshie Mia about it ever since before I entered this industry. They didn't even bother telling Veronica about it.

"Po? Na-aksidente po kayo?" She lowered the volume of the TV so she can hear me clearly.

"Yes. When I graduated college... right after my graduation... My friends and I were having a fun roadtrip."

"Then suddenly... nasira yung brake nung car. Sa side ko tumama 'yung puno kung saan nabundol 'yung sasakyan. We have no choice kung hindi i-bunggo namin 'yun or else hindi kami titigil."

"Ako ang pinakamatinding napuruhan sa amin. I don't know what happened after the accident. Nagising na lang ako nasa hospital na ako at hindi ko na kilala ang mga friends ko. Si mama lang ang naalala ko kasi siya ang huli kong nakita bago ako tuluyang mawalan ng malay. Sabi ng doctor... 'yung pagkalimot ko is temporary lang pero it turns out na hindi ko maaalala 'yung ibang alaala if hindi nila ipapaalala sa akin at pag hindi ko tinuloy ang pag take ko ng medications." I told Veronica. She stayed silent for a moment.

"Hala! How come I didn't know about this?!" She sounded so shocked.

"I don't know. I thought you're already aware of it." I told her before I went inside the bathroom.

I changed into my workout outfit since I need to do my workout today so I wont look bloated later on the camera. I only did the basics like russian twists, plunges and squats. I don't usually go to the gym since hindi naman ako tumataba at bumibigat kapag kumakain ako. They're not that strict to me dahil payat naman na talaga ako.

After that, I went straight to the bathroom to take a bath. I decided to wear a white high waisted shorts and a white puff sleeve crop top partnered with white heels. My hair was already very long, ending above my waist. I just let it down since I'm so lazy to style it.

We waited for the service to text us if they were already at the lobby. I didn't even put on some makeup because they will just remove it later. I just put on some lipstick to add color to my face.

My condo was already fully paid. I can move in anytime soon. While checking some messages and notifications, Veronica already informed me that the service is already at the lobby. We left our luggages and Veronica only brought her tote bag with her. I always don't bring bags I'm just leaving my phone in her bag.

When we headed down to the lobby we already saw kuya, the driver. I put on some shades to hide my face a bit, while Veronica is talking to the driver. We went to the van and Veronica seated in front while I seated in the backseat.

"Veronica, give me my phone" I'm bored so I just asked for my phone to scroll on my Instagram. I'm already verified on Instagram the last time I checked it.
