Family Over Love

Chapter 34

"Happy birthday love!" I greeted Ethan. I went inside his room together with his breakfast on bed. I'm planning to make a simple celebration tonight.

"Thank you love!" He gave me a kiss on my lips before he reached for the spoon and fork.

I cooked his favorite food which is Afritada. "How was it?" I asked him while he's eating.

"It's the best Afritada I've ever ate." He smiled. I blushed a little and went outside of his room so I can wash our clothes.

I started cleaning the unit because it's my rest day today. I don't have any photoshoots since it's Friday.

"Bye, love. 'Wag masyadong magpakapagod. You need to rest." He reminded me while he's putting the lunch box I've prepared for him inside his bag. He has work today, he said he has meetings kaya hindi na siya makakapag celebrate.

"Take care." I kissed him before I closed the door and continued my chores.

After washing our clothes, I decided to   decorate his room with balloons and some party stuffs. I've been hiding those decorations in my room since yesterday.

I started with the letter balloons. I also bought him a watch since he needs it for his work.

That's the watch he's been pointing when we're at the mall last week. He said he still has one so he don't need to buy since it's a bit expensive.

I ordered food and good thing it arrived just in time before Ethan came.

I was wearing a peach hoodie with a cyclings underneath.

"I told you I won't celebrate my birthday." He said while hugging me.

"I know you don't have time for it that's why I prepared something." I pinched his nose.

We just watched movies and ate. I didn't bother to plan some activities since I want us to rest.

It's already my 26th birthday and they said I need to go to a football field. I know that they're gonna surprise me duh, it's so obvious it's my birthday today.

"Hey!" I almost stumble when I saw Aphrodite at the living room with the boxes. She handed me those and she told me to go shower already.

When I opened the boxes... oh! It was a dress!

I'm wearing a red bandage dress that emphasizes the shape of my body. I partnered it with a silver heels.

When I reached the entrance of the football field, they blindfolded me and guided me to walk so I won't stumble since I'm wearing heels. Naramdaman ko ang malakas na pag ihip ng hangin. They turned me around and removed my blindfold. "Bes, wag kang lilingon ahh magbibilang kami ng 3 seconds bago ka lumingon." Aphrodite reminded me before she left me there facing the empty seats.

"1, 2, 3 lingon na bes!" Selene shouted so I would hear her.

I turn around and saw big balloons na nakasabit sa helicopter na nasa ere.

'Will you marry me'

I started crying  while walking towards Ethan. "Why are you crying?" He asked me while he's kneeling down. I didn't answer and just continued crying.
