Chapter 23

It's my rest day today. I woke up around 7:00 am. I fixed my bed and reached for my iPad and my phone to check if there are any messages from Veronica. I went to my closet to pick a comfortable outfit since I'm not planning to go out today but my IPad suddenly rang.

I checked it and it was Veronica calling. "Yes?" I asked her on facetime. I place my Ipad on my vanity and sat on my chair so she can see me.

[Are you ready na?] she asked me. I was shocked! Do I have any photoshoots today? Is there a meeting or a dinner? Or a flight? Gosh! I thought I'm just going to chill here.

"Uhmm.... for what?" I raised a brow while scrolling through my phone.

[What do you mean? You told me that you want me to go with you to pick a car.] She reminded me and.... she looks ready... oh no! Naka bihis na siya! I didn't shower yet!

"Uhh.... omg! Yeah!!! I forgot! I'm sorry! Just give me an hour. I just woke up, I needed to shower first."

[ Okay.] I thought she's going to be mad at me but she looks so calm. I ended the call and went straight to my bathroom.

I brushed my teeth and went straight to the shower. I showered for almost 30 minutes! So I still have 30 minutes to get ready. I grabbed my robe and wore it. I did my skincare and went out of the bathroom. I picked a blue dolphin shorts and a white hoodie.

I just tied my hair in a high ponytail after I dried it. I wore my white sneakers and picked a blue small branded backpack.

I checked if I brought everything. My wallet, my card holder, my phone and my..... cap and shades! Oh yeah right! I need to bring those.

I went back to my closet and picked the white Adidas cap and my Louis Vuitton shades.

I closed the door of my room. When I reached the kitchen to get some bread....

Oh! Hindi pa pala ako nakakabili ng groceries! Gosh good thing lalabas kami ngayon.

I heard the doorbell rang and I opened it. Veronica went inside but I stopped her. Her brows furrowed and looke at me with confusion in her eyes. "Let's go! Wag ka na pumasok. Tara na." I pushed her outside and closed the door. I don't need to lock it since nag au-auto lock na siya kasi may passcode.

"Did you eat breakfast?" She asked me while we're inside the elevator.

"No... I don't have stock of food yet." I gave her a smile.

"Yeah.. I think we need to go to the mall after we picked your car." She said and the elevator finally opened.

"Good morning ma'am." The receptionist at the lobby greeted me.

"Good morning!" I greeted her with a smile. Every time na papasok ako or lalabas ako lagi nila akong binabati. Actually almost lahat ng nakatira sa condo na 'to binabati nila.

Some units of this condo were owned by a model or a celebrity or sometimes a rich families. This condo isn't a common condo like others. It's like a house but has only one floor.

Veronica brought her car with her since ayaw kong mag book ng grab. "Shall we buy breakfast first? I'm a bit hungry." I told her.

"A bit lang? Or super hungry?" She laughed at me. I rolled my eyes and just ignored her. We went to a coffee shop and she insisted that she'll be the one who will order.

I just picked a small couch and an instagrammable one. I was about to remove my cap when someone approached me. "Hi!! Ms. Athena Smith right?" The lady asked me with her.... I think a 5 years old child with her.
