Chapter 26

When we arrived at the airport, there were people who easily recognized me. The guards helped me as well as Veronica. They were taking pictures of me. I'm not gonna allow them today because I'm in a rush.

"Ms. Athena! Is it true that you don't have a boyfriend until now?"

"Do you like girls?"

"Aren't you dating anyone?"

"Can you smile for the camera please."

I don't know why it's such a big deal for them that I don't have special someone! Why do they care? What if I just want to be single for the rest of my life? Ugh! So stressful!

Inside the plane, I slept because I woke up early. Good thing, we're always in business class so I'm comfortable to sleep. I can easily stretch my legs.

I woke up exactly when we're about to land. I fixed my hair and checked my face. "Can you check my things? Nandiyan na ba phone ko?" I asked Veronica while I'm still half awake. I actually slept comfortably.

We took a cab to go to our hotel even though it's not that far from the airport. I'm so lazy to walk and some people might get in my way again.

When we arrived to our hotel, I went straight to the bed. "Okay, so our schedule, later we will have the first photoshoot. It's around 12:30 am. Then tomorrow, we will have the second photoshoot. Then our third day will be dinner with them then our last day will be our rest day." She said while walking back and forth in front of me.

I stretched and close my eyes hoping that I could sleep again but I didn't.

I had a cold shower to wake up my body. I wore a floral tube top and a white high waisted shorts partnered with my clear high heels.

I put on some lipstick just to add color to my face. The hotel that we checked in is near the location where the photoshoot will be.

"Oh, Athena you're here. So glad you come sorry for the sudden changes of schedules." Ms. Divina, the CEO of the clothing brand here in LA.

"Oh don't worry about it, it's fine." I smiled at her.

"Oh by the way for this photoshoot you will have a partner, this is Brandon, the new model of your agency." She said when she let the guy face me. I turned my gaze to him and surveyed him from head to toe.

He is Moreno, we're almost at the same height. His fashion looks good though. He is wearing a floral buttoned down polo patnered with a black knee length shorts. His hair was fixed neatly. His eyes were brown and his lips were as pink as mine.

"Athena, Nice to meet you." I offered my hand and smiled.

"Brandon, nice to meet you too." He accepted my hand and shook it a little. 

"Okay so you two would look great together in swimsuits." She said which made me a little bit uncomfortable. He is still staring at me! Why does he stare at me like that? Do I have something on my face? He looks... creepy with those stares.

I wore swimsuits several times before, during photoshoots. But it's my first time with a partner.

They gave me a pink one piece swimsuit. They let my hair down snd straighten it using hair straightener.

Brandon was topless and only wearing a shorts which made me a little bit awkward. He has broad shoulders and his muscles were very attractive. He also has abs that you will really notice first.

"Okay try compressing more" Ms. Divina instructs us.

"Don't be so stiff." The photographer said.
