The battling fairies raise their auras, releasing their dark magic into the atmosphere. The high wind gusts dirt, sticks, and leaves into the air, bending the trees in the area sideways and nearly pulling them out of their roots.

Richard spins his bow, creating a magical green light to block the piercing wind and debris.

Serenity, Susan, and Sarah stick their swords into the ground, bracing themselves and holding their weapons for dear life as their legs rise.

Serenity feels as if the air is blowing the skin off her face. She concentrates on holding onto her weapon and keeping the thoughts of death out of her mind. I don't want the wind to wipe us away. Leon is fighting. He could use our help.

Butch and Baker swing their axes at Leon but do not come close to hitting him, as the noble fairy's speed is too fast for them to follow. The fairy generals hover high in the air and increase their purple aura. They blast black pixie dust throughout the region, and the potent poison burns the trees and bushes, leaving a massive hole in the black-grass field.

Leon dashes at the fairy generals and knocks them into a pile of gray boulders, cracking their heads open. Blood splatters their armor as the evil generals stagger back to their feet.

As Leon goes in for the kill, he clutches his heart and grimaces in pain. His face twitches and he grasps his heart. His powers decrease, the tornado stops, and the red sky turns purple as Butch and Baker's aura takes over the sky again.

The group remains near what's left of the ruined hideout. The fog is getting thicker and thicker as it changes colors to dark purple.

"The fairies are doing this to eradicate our vision," Richard states.

Serenity pulls her sword out of the dirt. She hears the buzzards yapping, the rats squeaking, and the snakes rattling, but nothing from her fairy mentor.

"I'm going to find Leon," Serenity says.

She uses the light from her weapon as a guide and creeps through the high gray weeds. Her comrades follow her. They swing their blades and bow through the field, knocking the grass and weeds down as they get taller and taller along the way.

Their robes are muddy as they enter a strange field with steam and static electricity popping out of it.

"Oh, no!" Serenity screams.

The wicked fairy generals tower over the ailing Leon.

The elder fairy looks beaten to a pulp as his eyes are swelling shut, his face is bloody, and bones are sticking out of his limbs.

The fairy generals open their mouths.

"Give me your power," Butch commands.

"We need it now," Baker screams.

The purple energy around them drains the electricity from the field into their aura. They suck in the steam from the ground, and shadowy figures emerge from the domain into their lungs.

Butch and Baker grow two feet taller, and their muscles expand, tearing the armor off their torsos.

Serenity's friends shake like leaves, and they huddle together.

"Are those ghosts going inside of them?" Susan asks.

"I don't know," Sarah responds.

"Girls, with these gloves that Elroy made for me, I can create more arrows that might be able to take them out, but I'm going to need some time to make them," Richard says.

Serenity marches toward the fairy generals. "I'll buy you some time, Richard. I've learned a lot from dating Rock. He made me realize that confident people can do wonders with their lives. No matter how big these fairies are, we can beat them."

Butch and Baker flash their demonic, purple eyes, and the heroes jump back.

Serenity regains her composure, takes a deep breath, and charges at the fairies. "It is now or never. We must strike now."
