Tevin sees Serenity, Sparkle, and Pastor Anderson as they're on the mountain's cliff with him and the elves.
The three are leaning as if they'll keel over soon from exhaustion. Their clothes are wet and doused in rainbow-colored sand. The sweltering heat has taken a toll on them as sweat showers down them like a faucet.
The three embrace him.
"I'm glad you're okay," Serenity says.
"I love you and will protect you with my life," Tevin replies.
Sparkle shrinks back down to the size of an ordinary fairy.
"I'm tired," Sparkle says.
Tevin picks the ailing fairy up in his palms.
Abruptly, Spencer, the Demon Ghost King's dark red eyes, spread across the smoky atmosphere.
"Moho, ha, ha. I'm going to enjoy watching your demise," Spencer says.
Hundreds of dragons fly with Queen Vanessa as they come to her aide.
The flame's heat raises the planet's temperature to over 150 degrees, causing the crows, bats, and vultures to drop out of the sky.
Queen Vanessa lands near the mountain where Tevin and the others reside.
The power of the queen's aura pulls the gray-colored oak trees out of their roots, sending them crashing to the ground as leaves and dirt plunge into the bushes.
The surface cracks, splitting open, and orange molten lava crops up from the planet and rises, melting the forest into ashes.
Tevin smells the fumes of burnt meat from dead animal flesh, polluting the air.
The giant dragon Queen Vanessa trudges through the pool of hot liquid growing above her waist. She appears unbothered by the heat as her scales are full of demonic sorcery.
Elroy, Melinda, Reginald, Bartholomew, and Jason point their bows and arrows at Queen Vanessa's enormous dragon-shaped head that's almost bigger than the cliff of the mountain.
"Fire now," Elroy instructs.
The elves shoot their flaming arrows at the queen.
The arrows evaporate as they touch her scales.
The lava rises, nearly reaching the top of the mountain, and it begins to boil rapidly as orange heads form with a purple aura around them. Orange arms and hands slowly creep out of the molten liquid, grabbing onto the mountain's rocks.
As their bodies fully develop, each naked lava creature grows a neck, chest, waist, legs, and feet.
The orange demons boil with lava bubbles and steam. They melt the stones and everything they touch as they climb the mountain. The lava creatures get close to the cliff while the dragons come from the east. The demon ghosts fly from the west, and Queen Vanessa faces
Tevin and his friends from the north.
A sprinkle of plasma hits Tevin on his shoulder, and he looks up into the sky, and it starts heavily raining drops of blood.
"Aargh!" Tevin screams.
Serenity puts her hood over her head and touches Tevin with her healing sword. Tevin feels his nerves calming. This is almost better than the pixie dust.
Reginald wiggles his pointy ears as blood drips down his face and through his newly grown white beard. "We should not have helped the humans. Spencer is going to let Queen Vanessa kill us."
Melinda buttons her drenching wet robe. "Show some dignity before you die, Reggie. We should've never made deals with those things in the past for survival. It's better to die free than be servants to the demons."
Bartholomew puts his arm around him. "Yes, Reginald, we all decided to come back to save them. It's the right thing to do."
Elroy and Jason hug Reginald as well.
"Remember, we all were human before," Elroy says.
Pastor Anderson grabs Tevin and Serenity's hands. "Everyone holds hands."
"She's about to kill us," Reginald says.
"Do what he says. I have a hunch about this," Elroy states.
The group stands in a circle, clutching each other's hands.
Tevin puts the sleeping Sparkle in his pocket as he listens to the reverend.
"I know that you are all scared, but there is a name more powerful than any sword or arrow. There is a name stronger than any fairy or dragon. There is a name that leaves demons running in fear. That name is Jesus Christ. If you want to live, say his name," Pastor Anderson preaches.
The demon ghosts race down from the sky toward them, booing as they lick their fangs. The evil spirits get within inches of the group, and they hiss, spitting their slimy saliva onto them.
The ten feet tall lava creatures reach the top of the mountain. Their molten hot feet melt the black, rocky floor as they march toward the group.
"Aargh!" Tevin blurts.
Pastor Anderson jumps up and down. "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! Say his name!"
"Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!" the group simultaneously replies.
Pastor Anderson bounces up and down, dancing and stomping as he catches the holy ghost. "Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Praise Jesus Christ, our savior of the world!
The holy preacher drops to his knees as he speaks in tongues. "Sha la, la, la, la! Sha la, la, la, la! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!"
The demon ghosts tremble in their tracks and fly in the other direction.
The lava creatures pause and rock their faceless bodies back and forth in confusion.
"It's working," Tevin says.
The blood stops raining down, and the dragons flee behind Queen Vanessa.
Sunlight appears in the sky, shining through The World of The Fairies. A strong wind begins to blow, extinguishing the purple flames.
Gold light fills the sky, and a cosmic portal stretches open. The peaceful sounds of a harp play as thousands of soldiers resembling humans dressed in silky gold gowns with wings covered in brown feathers fly out of it, and they draw their swords.
Tevin senses a peaceful awakening in his heart and spirit. I've never experienced this emotion. I feel safe and strong.
"Are those Angels?" Tevin asks.
"Yes, God is answering our prayers," Pastor Anderson says.
