People say that after midnight talks are the best, and most honest ones. The time when you, your best friend, significant other, sibling or someone you barely know will be truthful. No lies, you just say what's on your mind.

Hyunjin and Seungmin were sitting on the bed, face to face, thick blankets keeping them warm. As usual, the moon shone into the room, creating some kind of magical light that brightened the boys' faces.

Exactly one week has passed since their escape from the world. Everything was peaceful, no cops or even a person came nearby, it felt like the little village was only their property.

If you wouldn't know their full story, you'd think that these two boys lived here, in a domestic relationship without any problems or secrets. They acted like life was great, expressing their love every single day, as frequently as they could.

Maybe, just maybe they knew.

Anxious unconsciousness, the deepest part of the brain, it warned them.

The lingering tense feeling in their mind kept them alarmed because they knew, maybe one day it will come.

The end of their story.

Their time is ticking away slowly but surely.

"Hyunjin..."

The comfortable silence broke down at the weak voice of the younger.

Hyunjin felt worry bubbling inside him. "Yes Minnie?"

"I don't want to go to prison."

Clouds crowded around the moon, not allowing the light of hope to reach the bedroom.

"What do you mean? You won't go there, we've been here for a while I don't think that the police will find us." The older made an attempt to assure Seungmin, or was he trying to calm himself secretly?

A bitter, humorless chuckle left Seungmin's lips. "Jinnie... The police in the country is extremely ambitious. They'll investigate anything that comes in their way. Failure is not in their dictionary, it's a lose for us. The police will find us, no doubt."

Hyunjin felt his whole body shudder and tense up. He chewed on his bottom lip as he was thinking, what Seungmin has said was 100% true.

Eventually, they'll get caught.

Will Hyunjin go to prison too?

"And I think, that– that you'll be sent to jail too."

"Why? I didn't do anything!" The older was afraid of that place, one time he and his father visited his uncle in prison, the experience was unforgettable and negative. He never wanted to step a foot in there again.

"I'm sorry Hyunjin, but you're here with me, owning the knowledge of my past and crimes. You did not run to get help or did anything to contact the police." Seungmin explained his situation and Hyunjin understood. It made his blood run cold.

No.

I don't want that.

Seungmin saw everyone single thought and emotion in Hyunjin's eyes, his expression said it all.

"I know you don't want to go there..."

The blond looked up, feeling their hands locking in a strong hold. The younger hugged him gently, putting his forehead on Hyunjin's shoulder.

Seungmin tilted his head and whispered into Hyunjin's ear, sending shivers down his spine.

"...but don't worry, I have a plan."
