A framed picture.

A shiny piece of paper securely closed behind a wall of glass, decorated with different types of frames.

Why is it so cherished by everyone?

Why do we put it up?

It holds our dearest memories, moments you want to remember forever.

If it's in our memory, then why do we have the urge to frame it in a picture?

Because you need a reminder of those moments sometimes. It can't flow in your mind every day, maybe it's hidden too.

Then if it's hidden, doesn't that mean we don't even want to remember?

That's not exactly true.

So what's the meaning?

Think about it.

A picture can be of a person who is no longer here with us. Even if you knew them, you remembered them, you still want to make an everlasting memory of them. Don't you think so?

You're not wrong I guess.

Tell me, do you have any framed pictures in your room?

I do.

And, who is in it?

My mother.

Why is it there?

She passed away a long time ago, sometimes when I need some emotional support I look at it, and I see her smiling at me. It calms me down.

See now? This is why we need them.

Right.

Although, pictures are always kept in a safe place, it may happen that they fall and the glass brakes into millions of pieces.

You decide what you do with it.

Put that picture somewhere else?

Throw everything in the trash?

Who would want to let everything go to waste?

Someone who doesn't want to remember anymore.

Someone who has found a better thing to treasure, rather than that original.

Just as the glass breaks, the photograph gets damaged. It's not the same anymore.

Don't play with something that can't be repaired without danger.

Watch your actions.

Take care.
