Chapter 7

[ Naruto POV ]

We are being rowed across the lake while Tazuna was trying to guilt trip us into continuing the mission.
Did it work?
No.
Did we continue the mission anyway?
Absolutely.
When we all got off the boat Tazuna lead us to his house and Kakashi collapsed because he used to much chakra. All of us were given rooms to stay in. Sakura and Kakashi got their own rooms while me and Sasuke had to share one.
"You better not bother me when I'm sleeping dobe"
"Same thing to you teme"
We set our stuff down and went back to the kitchen. Sakura went to the market with Tazuna to buy dinner.

At dinner there was a kid named Inari sitting at the table. When we were talking about the plan to defeat Gato he started crying.
"But why"
I moved my head to look at him.
"What'd you say"
He slammed his hands on the table.
"All this stupid training is just a waste of time. Gato has a whole army, they'll destroy you. The cool things you say, they don't mean anything. No matter what you do the strong always win and the weak always lose"
This kid is starting to piss me off.
"Speak your yourself"
"Be quiet, just looking at you makes me sick. You don't know anything about this country, your just butting in"
I started tightening my fist so I don't kill this kid.
"You don't know what it's like being treated like dirt"
"Kit you need to calm down"
I put my head down to keep my anger in. It took everything I had to stop from aiming murderous intent at this kid and punching him.
"Listen to yourself bitching about your situation like some sorry little victim. The strong always wins and the weak always lose"
I looked up at him and yelled,
"What kind of bullshit is that. You can keep sitting on your ass and whining for all I care. Your just a damn coward"
Inari ran back upstairs to his room crying.
"Naruto"
I ignored Sakura and walked outside slamming the door closed.

"Kit"
"Are you going to scold me again"
"I'm actually proud that you limited your anger to cursing"
"You should be"
I summoned Kurama to let him walk around for a bit and leave me alone for a while.
"Don't do anything rash kit"
"I know"
Kurama walked away to give leave me alone. I stomped and broke the ground.
"Damn, damn, damn, damn"
I kept stomping on the ground and broke the ground. I broke the ground over and over until I created a crater around me. I walked over to a tree and kicked it down.
"Calm down damn it"
I kept punching and kicking down trees. I've got to calm down before morning. After I kicked down a few trees around me, I calmed down. Should I go back now? I don't feel like going back yet.
"Kurama"
I yelled his name and Kurama appeared around me.
"Do you need something Kit"
"Come here"
Kurama walked towards me and sat down
"Are you going back"
I shook my head,
"I'm going to sleep out here tonight"
He laid down against a tree that I kicked down. I laid against him and he laid his tail on me. I dug my head into Kurama's fur.
"Good night, Kurama"
"Sleep well, Kit"

[ Sasuke POV ]

After I woke up and got dressed, Kakashi told me to go look for Naruto so he could eat breakfast. I saw a bunch of trees and when I kept walking I saw the beginning of a huge crater. I was cautious when I kept walking to the middle of the crater. I looked down at the middle of the crater and saw a footprint. I looked up to the other side to see Naruto sleeping against a fox with nine tails. I walked closer to him and touched his shoulder. His head shot up and looked straight at me.
"Oh, it's just you"
He sat up and looked around.
"Looks like it's morning already"
"Breakfast is almost done"
He looked over to the fox and shacked him,
"Kurama it's time to wake up"
The fox called Kurama woke up and looked around. It looked up at me and yawned.

[ Kuama POV ]

I looked up at Sasuke and yawned. Why did this guy have to ruin my sleep? I looked up at Kit  and he looked at me.
"Kurama get smaller so I can carry you, okay"
I got into my Chibi form and Kit picked me up. He smiled down at me and started waking back to the house.
'When can I go back to your mindscape'
'Later okay, please just deal with it for a little while. Besides if you don't like anyone just scratch them'
'Are you forgetting that I'm the Nine Tailed Fox'
'You little and harmless right now nothing will happen. If someone thought you were to think your going to cause trouble, I'm right here to stop them'
'You really care about me huh Kit'
'It's because your like a parent to me'
'That's the first time someone said something like that besides the old man sixth paths'
'It's because your one of the first people who talked to me without insult'
Kit kept walking with me in his arms behind Saskue. Sasuke opened the door and Kit walked in behind Sasuke. When we walked in I saw everyone sitting at the dinning table getting ready to eat. Kit bowed down its me in his arms,
"I'm sorry for my outburst last night"
He stood up straight again and looked at everyone in the eye.
"It's alright"
Kit bowed bowed again,
"I'm very sorry"
"It's okay you don't have to bow"
He looked up and smiled.
"So Naruto..."
The pink banshee pointed at me,
"...why are you holding a fox"

[ Kakashi POV ]

When Sakura pointed at the fox I looked closer at it's tail. That fox has nine tails, it couldn't possibly.
"Where did you find that fox Naruto"
He looked down at the fox he was holding,
"Oh him"
He paused for a short second,
"He's been following me ever since I was little so I thought I should take him home after the mission"
"Naruto are you sure about that fox"
He looked up at me and smiled.
"Yeah, he was always looking lonely when he was following me around"
Is he really going to take that fox with him. It's not like that fox would do anything to him, right.
"Take good care of him"
"I will, I already named him Kurama"
"Make sure he doesn't get in the way"
"Of course"
Naruto set the fox down and let the fox wander around. He sat at the table, clapped his hands, said his thanks, and started eating.

[ Naruto POV ]

After we finished breakfast we went outside to train because Zabuza was still alive.
"Alright today we'll be climbing trees"
Sakura looked confused.
"What will climbing trees do to help us fighting Zabuza"
"Just watch"
We all watched how Kakashi climbed the tree without hands. He explained everything that we had to do and how it would help us defeating Zabuza. He threw kuni on the ground in front of us.
"Mark the tree when you start falling"
The first one that could climb all the way up the school was Sakura. Which was expected because she's really good at chakra control. Saskue was having trouble because he was applying to much chakra to the tree. I was playing with Kurama's paws as I watched Sasuke keep walking up the tree. I knew Kurama was getting annoyed but I kept playing with his paws anyway.
"Aren't you going to climb the tree"
Sakura was starting to question me. I stoped playing with Kurama's paws and looked up at Sakura.
"There's no need for me to climb the tree"
Sakura started yelling at me again,
"You have to, for training"
I covered Kurama's ears before Sakura could yell again.
"Why should I do something that I can already do"
"There's no way"
"Your going to hurt Kurama if you keep yelling like that, Sakura"
"Who cares about that stupid fox"
Kurama started growling,
'Did this banshee just call me a stupid fox'
"Don't insult him like that"
"Humph"
Looks like Sakura is showing some of her sass again. I don't really like her.
After a few hours I watched Saskue as he kept trying to climbed the tree. I yelled to him when he was getting higher,
"Your doing great teme"
When I talked to him he fell from the tree. He looked at me with an annoyed face.
"Why don't you go back to the house if you can already climb the tree"
"Because I wanted to play with Kurama outside"
He scoffed and began climbing the tree.
Sasuke was still struggling to climb the tree. He was covered in dirt and all sweaty. I laughed a little and looked back at Kurama walking around.
"What are you laughing about"
I pointed at Kurama while looking at Saskue,
"He's chasing his own tail don't you think it's funny"
"Hn"
He looked at me suspiciously and went back to climbing the tree.

After about three days Saskue got the hand of climbing the tree and climbed all the way to the top like Kakashi told him to. He was exhausted so I help him walk back to the house. When I opened the door the others were getting ready to eat dinner. After we all finished eating dinner I fell asleep in the room I was assigned too. This was the first time here that I actually slept in the room I was given. The only downside was that I was sharing a room with Saskue.
