Chapter 17

[ Naruto POV ]

When I got out of bed it felt like I put on some weight. I walked in front of the mirror and saw three more tails growing from the bottom of my back. I put my hand over my eyes and sighed.
"I'm going to grow nine tails"
I walked away from the mirror to the table. It still had the ingredients and the medical books on it. I cleaned up the table and placed the book in the center of the table. I got dressed for the day and went outside with the medical book on hand.

I opened the door to the Hokage's office but Gramps wasn't there. I remember that there weren't many villagers walking the streets this morning. I placed the book on Gramps's bookshelf and walked out of the empty office.

I was walking down the roads looking at the low number of villagers walking the street.
'I'm forgetting something aren't I'
"The Chunini Exam"
I picked up speed and ran to the stadium.

[ Hokage POV ]

The fights are about to begin and he's still not here yet. The proctor was about to call the match but the Kazekage told him to wait.

The crowed was getting riled up and Naruto still wasn't here yet. The proctor had to go onto the next match,
"The winner, but forfeit is-"
"Wait"
Everyone's eyes turned to a heavy breathing blond with fox tails and ears. The villagers looked at him in disgust but he ignored them and walked to the proctor.

[ Naruto POV ]

"I'm here so can I fight this match"
The proctor shook his head,
"You are to late"
I walked back to the entrance of the stadium and sighed.
"Looks like I lost my chance to fight the Hyuga prodigy"
"Wait"
I looked up at Gramps and saw him standing,
"Proceed with the first match"
I turned around and faced Neji,
'Your taking over for this fight'
"You can do it"
'I know I can kill him'
"Don't blame me if I kill him instead"
I closed my eyes and let Kurama take over to fight Neji.

[ Kurama POV ]

I have to make sure I don't kill the kid. He got into the stance you use for the gentle fist technique. When facing a Byakugan user you either you either parry the attacks or dodge them completely. In this case it's easier to dodge to insure he doesn't hit any chakra points. The only question now is, who's going to attack first.

We've been standing in the same place for the past ten minutes and I'm getting tired.

[ Neji POV ]

It looks like he's getting tired from standing there. The reason he was late was most likely because he slept in. He's asleep, this is the perfect chance to strike. I ran up to him and started attacking, aiming for his chakra points.

I know he fell asleep right on the battle field so how is he dodging and blocking my attacks. Naruto was about to jump away again so I grabbed one of the tails to hold him still.

[ Naruto POV ]

I woke up from a sharp pain coming from my back. I gritted my teeth,
'This bastard grabbed my tail'
This must be how animals feel when humans grab their tails. I slapped Neji's hand away before he could hit a chakra point and backed away. I touched the tail he grabbed and looked back at Neji.
"That hurt you idiot"
I pointed at him,
"How could you pull someone's tail like that. It's more painful than you think it is"
I feel bad for all of those animal's with tails. The arena was quieter than it was before. He grabbed my tail and woke me up at the same time. I've come to a decision, I'm going to kill him. I don't care if this is just the Chunini Exam or if I get kicked out of the village. I'm going to pull him six feet under.
"Kit, calm down"
'Calm down my ass. The only reason this happened was because you fell asleep'
When I was close enough to Neji I raised my head and looked him in the eye.
"Your going to die"
He backed away and took another stance,
"Eight trigrams, sixty-four palms"
When he got close to me, I kicked him in the stomach.
"You grabbed my tail and woke me up"
A smile formed on my face,
"I'm going to kill you"

[ Hokage POV ]

"He must be the Jinchuriki of the nine tails, a wild at that"
Those four tails swinging around acting like the nine tailed fox. The people in the stands were yelling out their comments,
"The demons showing his true nature"
"We should have killed him long ago"
"Death to the demon"
If this keeps going on he's going to go on a rampage. Even I cannot stop him if that happens. I called the Anbu Black Opps around the stadium.
"Hold him down"
They all went down and tried to hold him down.
Key word: Tried
He ended up pushing them all off.

[ Kakashi POV ]

I felt the burning on my shoulder that I haven't felt in years. I looked at Sasuke and saw that he was resting from all the training.
"It's time to go"
He stood up and we ran to the battle stadium.

We walked into the stadium and saw a sight. It was the captain being held down by other ninja, even the Hokage was holding him down. They were trying to hold him down anyway. He kept pushing them off with the four tails. I looked at Sasuke,
"Stay here"
I walked into the commotion,
"What happened"
Asuma got pushed off and answered,
"Mid-fight his opponent grabbed on of his tails and ticked him off"
So this is what captain acts like when he's mad. This time Kurenai was pushed off,
"He's your student so do something"
I put my hands up, shrugged, and shook my head,
"No can do"
I put my hands down and paid attention to captain,
"There's only one person who could stop him now"
I sighed,
"Unfortunately he's not here right now"
I saw Jiraiya walking into the arena. He saw what was going on and walked in the middle of it. They next thing happened in a flash. Jiraiya was pushed into the wall, that must of hurt.

[ Sasuke POV ]

I walked closer to the pile of ninja and studied the problem intently. I saw a glimpse of that was at the bottom of the pile. It was Naruto pushing ninja after ninja off of him while yelling.
"Itachi"
It was as though everything froze with that one word. Naruto stoped yelling and pushing people. The ninja stoped trying to hold Naruto down, no one moved. I looked at Kakashi and he started to move forward.
"What would Itachi think if he saw you acting like this"
Everyone moved and pinned down the frozen Naruto. Lord Third added to what Kakashi had said,
"He would be very disappointed"
The Hokage told the ninja to step down and they did. I got a good look at Naruto and saw his fox features down. His tails touched the ground and his ears were laying on his head. The ninja walked out of the stadium leaving they four of us. Naruto sat up with cuts on his body. Steam was coming out of the cuts while they were healing. There was a ringing of a bell across the arena. I turned around and saw a person wearing a cloak with a straw hat covering their face. The hat had bells hanging around the whole hat but, one was missing. I looked back at Naruto he was looking down and had a guilty look all over his face. A bell rang again and the person was in front of Naruto.
"I'm very disappointed in you"
Naruto looked up as the man kept talking,
"I was looking forward to see you passing the Chunini Exam normally"
"I'm sorry"
His ears weren't laying on his head but pressing against his head. Kakashi started walking out of the arena but was stoped by the next thing the man said.
"From now on you have to follow any order Kakashi gives"
"I understand"
The man patted Naruto on the head to comfort him. I walked closer and touched the man. The man turned his head and I saw the face under the hat. He smiled,
"You've grown Sasuke"
The next thing I knew I was on the ground with pain on my stomach.
