[Third Person POV]
"Weird question, but what happened to your ears?"
"Huh?"
Sakura was helping Naruto and Kurama with the paperwork given to them by the Hokage. Shin was at school even though he strongly resisted. Sakura had showed without warning and Kurama had the grand idea of her helping with the pile of work.
"You know the fox ears and tails."
Naruto didn't look up from his stack of paper,
"You mean these?"
A poof of smoke showing that a jutsu had been preformed or released.

The smoke cleared showing the blonde with orange fox ears on his head and four tails of the same color.
"I still have them."
Sakura looked at the ears and tail then back at the paper.

The sound of pen hitting paper was filling the room. Naruto could feel the occasional gaze on his focused on his swinging tail. He already had an idea of what was going on in the person's head, but he let them stare without saying anything. That was until the gaze had started becoming irritating.
"You can't touch it."
"W-what are you talking about?"
Naruto sighed and kept working.

"Finally done."
Kurama stood up and stretched. The old fox yawned and walked to the kitchen. He opened the food cabinet and...
"Shit."
The food cabinet was completely empty. Next, he opened the fridge, and...
"Fuck."

"Mr.Hiroshi, it's been a while."
"Yes, it has."
Currently, Hiroshi was at the vegetable stall, shopping. The nice vegetable lady was there like always.
"You haven't stopped by in a while."
"Well..."
He picked up a nice looking potato,
"...things have been busy lately."
The lady looked worried and concerned for the man's health.
"You're new to the village and you're already being worked to the bone."
"I've got to show my worth some way or another..."

"Huh"
Kurama had opened the house front door, and a surprising discovery was made. The sleep deprived Naruto was no where to be found. Not a strand of his hair was too he seen. There was a note on the dinning table though.

Sakura told me that it was parent teacher day at the school and forced me to go. Be back later.

Kurama looked down at the note with a sour face.
"Oh no...Oh god no. This is bad...so bad..."

Things were awkward in the teachers office. Iruka was asking questions about the life at home, and other personal questions. He wasn't exactly getting the answers he wanted.
"So, how's life at home?"
Akihiro looked at him with an uninterested and tired face. Shin was looking at his brother with a worried face. The older yawned,
"It's normal."
That was the fifth time Iruka had asked that question, and the answer was as bland as the first four.

There was a clear tick mark starting to form on Iruka's forehead, but he was suppressing all of his negative emotions. He was suppressing his emotions, but you could see the twitch in his smile.
"Would. You. Please. Elaborate?"
A glare was shot at Iruka by the younger and another yawn escaped the mouth of the older.
"Well, we eat three meals a day, sleep, walk around town and that's-"
An idea popped into Akihiro's head. Though there was no guarantee that it would work, it was still worth trying.
"AND that granny, or whatever, keeps assigning large stacks of paperwork from her desk everyday for the past two weeks. Because of this-"
"THE HOKAGE IS NOT SOME GRANNY!"
Another glare from Shin that was soon stopped when Akihiro placed his hand on the kid's head.
"You're that one who told me to elaborate, so I was elaborating. Is there a problem with that?"

Iruka was holding on to tue cliff we call self control. To be honest, his hand was slipping from the ledge. It was a real struggle to keep hold. Iruka just wanted to let go and lash out at the two kids, but no. Self control was an important when in a parent teacher meeting. Iruka had to keep a cool, calm head.
"No, but it is proper edict to call her Lady Tsunade or Hokage."
"Ehhh, It's granny fine. It's not like she opposes the name anyways."

That was weird. For a second there he reminded me of....
Iruka had a sudden flash back. A time where he was talking with a certain blonde at the Ichiraku Ramen stand. The kid had said the same words regarding the third Hokage when Iruka had gotten mad at him for being disrespectful. It was weird.

"We're back"
Kurama ran up to the two and grabbed Naruto's shoulders.
"Did you do anything wrong? You didn't set the teacher off? Were you respectful? Did you show proper manners. You had to at least sit up straight-"
"KURAMA! I can't answer all of these questions at once even when I'm fully rested, so how do you think I can answer then while sleep deprived?"
Kurama backed away with a sigh and pressed a hand to his face. It was unknown to the younger two, but during the meeting, Kurama was sitting at the dining table, hands held together, his head down towards the table, and mumbling. The old fox was praying that the parent teacher meeting went smoothly, and nothing was fucked up. Kurama felt like he was praying for a miracle to happen, and if things went smoothly it really would be a miracle.

All things said, the meeting didn't go so well, but the complaining about the stacks of paperwork really did pay off.
"Lady Tsunade, I cannot allow you to give classified documents to newcomers in village!"
It seemed like the made on spot plan was actually working. That was for now anyways.
