Chapter 20

[ Third Person POV ]

It's been a week since the death of the Third Hokage and the Chunini Exam.
"Kakashi-sensei"
"Yes Sakura"
"Where's Naruto"
"Unfortunately Sakura that is confidential"
The shorten Team 7 have been assigned a new teammate by Lord Third before he died.
"Do you know anything about the new teammate"
"I was given little information about him"
"Alright"
The door to to the office was already opened and a pale skinned boy. His skin was the cooler of paper, his hair was black, he wore a crop top, and carried a scroll. Kakashi was the first to approach him,
"My name is Hatake Kakashi leader of Team 7"
"I'm Sai the new member"

"Kurama"
Naruto started waking up out of his own will.
"Good morning"
"He's coming"
Just then an injured fox walked out of a bush. When it spotted Naruto it started running towards him. The fox jumped into Naruto's arms and Naruto started healing it's wounds. Naruto petted the foxes head,
"You did a good job"
Naruto pulled the fox away and looked at it.
"I'll call you Shin"
Naruto gave Shin two tails worth of Kurama's chakra causing two of his tails to disappear and reappear of Shin.
"Learn to control those okay"
Shin gave Naruto a high pitched bark making Naruto smile gently. Naruto looked back at Kurama,
"Can you train him Kurama"
"I'll try"
Kurama turned into a human and Naruto leaned on a tree.
"Wake me up if you need me"
"Sleep well"
Naruto fell asleep against a tree and Kurama started training Shin.

Shin had been training for almost half a day. Kurama called Shin over to him.
"Shin come here"
Shin ran to Kurama in the human form he had just obtained.
"Yes"
"Make sure to look out for Naruto"
"I'll stay by his side until I die"
Kurama patted Shin's head and Shin started getting annoyed. He slapped Kurama's hand off of him,
"Stop it"
Shin started running to the sleeping Naruto.
"Master"
Shin stopped running on front of Naruto,
"Master Naruto"
Naruto started waking up,
"Yes"
Naruto opened his eyes and looked at the boy standing in front of him.
"Good job Shin"
Shin smiled with pride and was happy his master had just praised him.
"Thank you Master"
Naruto looked at him confused,
"Master"
Shin kept smiling,
"Your my Master"
Naruto returned his smile,
"What are you learning next"
"Clones"
"Try your best and get stronger okay"
"Of course master"
Shin ran back to Kurama and continued his training. This reminded Naruto of the time he was being trained by Kurama.
"I wonder where he got that Master thing"

Every time Shin mastered something new he woke up Naruto and showed his everything. Shin's chakra ran out and he was exhausted.
"Shin"
He looked at Naruto,
"Yes Master"
"Come here in your fox form"
Shin changed back into a fox and to Naruto.
"Did you need something"
Naruto picked up Shin and placed him on his lap. Then Naruto started petting Shin's head,
"Your fur is soft"
"M-master"
Naruto fell asleep with his hand in Shin's head.

[ Sasuke POV ]

It's been two years sinceLord Third died, two years since Sai joined our team, two years since Naruto left, and two years since I lost my only lead to Itachi. There are some girls whispering over there,
"Have you heard seen the new family"
"You mean the one with that cute kid following him"
"Don't forget the hot red head"
"But the last one is looks like a bad boy type"
"I would be grateful if any of them looked at me"
Then three new people walked passed me. I made short eye contact with one of them. Then one of the girls squealed,
"He looked at me"
"No he was looking at me"
"Both of you are wrong he was looking at me"
I started walking to the Hokage's office.

I knocked on the door.
"Come in"
I opened the door and I saw the three from the road standing in front of the desk.
"Sasuke"
I walked in front of the desk while looking at the three.
"Going from left to right, these three are Shin, Akihiro, and Hiroshi"
