Chapter 6

Jennie's POV

It's been two weeks since I last saw Lisa. After that incident inside the room, she didn't go to school. I keep asking Jisoo and Seulgi about Lisa but they just shrugged and changing the topic. 

"Hey Jen" A deep voice whispered behind me. I jumped a little to move away from it and hold my chest. 

"Jesus, Kai! Don't appear on me like that!" I said he chuckled and stand beside me while looking at the duo in front of us. Jisoo and Seulgi. 

"Been wondering if you are free this evening. I want to ask you for dinner" Kai said and circles his hand on my waist. 

I felt uncomfortable and slowly fasten up my pace so I can get out of his arm. I look at the duo and saw that they're glaring at Kai. The latter seems not minding it which I found weird. Last time Lisa glared at Kai too and then these two acting weird whenever kai approach me. 

"I'm sorry Kai, but I already have a plan with Irene." I declined. 

"It's okay. Maybe next time?" He said. I just smiled at him and didn't answer. 

"Maybe not" I heard Seulgi whispered. 

One more thing, since I last saw Lisa. These two are always beside me wherever I am or they always asking me to go with them. First, I found it weird. But when I spend more time with them I grew to know them more. They're actually funny and somehow cute. They're just like dog when they threw some cute actions at you when you didn't agree on what they want. 

I heard Jisoo scoff so I quickly bid goodbye to Kai and pull the duo to walk. 

"Yah, what's your problem with Kai?" I asked them. They just look at me and didn't answer. 

"Jendeuk" Jisoo say, she's been calling me that when she and Seulgi spending nights in our house because of the project. Well, Rosé being rosé, she's happy that someone can occupy her when I'm in the park. 

"Come with me" She said and dragged me outside the campus. 

"Wait, where are we going?" I asked but she didn't bother to answer. I look behind me but to my disappointment Seulgi isn't following us. I let out a frustrated sigh and let Jisoo drag me. 

We stop in front of a coffee shop. I look at Jisoo and she just smiled at me and pulled me inside. I saw a tall figure busy mixing some drinks with a smile on her face. I unconsciously smile but turn into frown when I cleary saw her bruised face. 

I walk onto her and stop in front of her. She's busy punching something on the computer and doesn't notice my presence. I fakely cough to get her attention. 

"I'm sorry. What can I get y— Jennie?" As soon as she saw me, she divert her eyes to somewhere. Seems like she's avoiding my stares. 

"What are you doing here?" she asked while eyeing the person behind me. When she clearly saw that it was Jisoo a frown came in her face. 

"What happened?" I ask. 

"Huh?" 

"What happened to your face Lisa?" i repeated. I saw that she froze a little and let out a shakey breathe. 

"Can you cover me up?" Lisa said to Jisoo. 

"Hell no. This is your Cafe Lisa you can leave it right now." Jisoo said that makes me frown. She own this shop? 

Lisa glared at Jisoo and the latter just gulped and walk towards the cashier. Lisa handed her the apron.

"Let's talk inside my office" She said and started to walk into the door behind the cashier. I quickly glance at Jisoo and she just smiled at me and give the coffee on the customer. My eyes saw Seulgi sitting in the corner of the shop. Since when did she get here? 

"What are you doing here Jennie?" Lisa ask when we're inside her office. 

"I'm going to ask you again Lisa, what happened to your face?" 

I see her that she raise her one eyebrow and smirked. "Why Kim? Why do you even care?" I stunned by her question. Why do I even care? And why am I always looking for her? 

"I.. " I trailed. Her smirk turn bigger and she slowly walk in front of me. 

"Cat got your tongue Kim?" She said mischievously as she didn't stop walking so I step back until I felt the cold wall against my back. 

"I just want to say thank you... " I manage to say. Lisa placed her both hands beside me so I am trapped inside of her embrace. 

"Thank you for what?" She asked her voice sounding husky. 

"For saving me..." Oh Jennie Ruby Jane Kim!!  We all know that you say that two weeks ago!! I see Lisa's smile and let out a small chuckle.

"Lisaaaaaaa—" We both stunned by our position when the door bang open revealing the boy I saw when Lisa saved me. 

"Did I interrupt something?" He asked and grinning widely. "If I were you, I'm not going in there" I heard Jisoo say.  Lisa scoff and pulled her self and stand properly. 

"Bam, what do you want?" Lisa ask. I'm still leaning at the wall, still my heart is pounding rapidly because of the sudden interact. 

"Oh nothing. I'm just going back later. You can continue what you're doing cousin. Make sure you wont be loud! You have a lot of customers now" He said and stick his tongue out. Lisa grab a book and about to throw at him when he run outside and close the door. 

Lisa sat down on her chair and motioned me to sit down in the couch. 

"I will ask again Kim, what are you doing here? and why are you looking for me?" 

"I'm just concerned." 

"Why would you?" 

"You didn't go to school and the last time I saw you you were weak." 

"I wont have a problem with school besides I own that." My eyes widened at her sudden confession. She what?!  

Lisa chuckled when she saw my reaction. 

"I'm just kidding. But Bambam's family is the co-owner of that university. So I wont have a problem for that." She confidently say and stand up. She walked to her mini fridge and get two bottled water. She handed me one and I muttered a thank you. 

"But what happened in your face?" I ask again. 

"Got tripped in the stairs and fall down. Guess I'm clumsy enough." she answered not looking at me. I didn't but her answer but I feel that she doesn't want to talk about it so I let it slide. For now. 

"What do you want to drink?" She ask and starting to walk towards the door.

"Just expresso" I answered. She look at me and smile widely. "Good choice Kim." She said and get out. 

This time, I have a chance to look around her office. I walk around and see a picture frame hanging in the wall. Huh? I didn't notice it earlier. I step closer to it and scan the picture. 

There is little Lisa while smiling widely with two adults. I suppose it was her parents. But when I look further, I saw a familiar eyes. Wait a minute... Those eyes! Now I know why Lisa's eyes are familiar to me! I don't know why but my tears are slowly falling down on my cheeks. 

"Here's your coffee Kim" Lisa's voice linger inside her office I slowly turned around to look at her.

"Lisa, You're Lili right? You're the girl that save me twelve years ago"
