Come With Me

I was changed and ready to go and find Romeo. I opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. I could hear voices so I followed the sound to where it was coming from. It led me down the beautiful staircase into the living room.

I could hear Romeo's voice clearer as I got closer, he was arguing with Brody and I heard another male voice. Was it that good looking guy they called Phoenix? I stopped to listen near the door.

"Hey! Now stop, the both of you. I know you are the head dragon, but we are also like brothers, all five of us are."

Five? Who are the five? I listened on as they spoke.

"If you wanted to fall in love with her first then you should have gone into the human world and found her."

"You know I couldn't leave the realm. That is why I trusted you to do that, but I never thought you would fall for her."

"Well I never expected to fall in love, but I did. Just let her decide. It's been a long time since that promise was made to your parents."

"I have told her to do as she pleased, but you know she will end up falling for me. She is from the silver dragons and they always married the gold dragons. You are from the red dragons... It has never happened."

"Well, there is always a first time... What if she falls for a white dragon... I want to get to know her better too."

"Then you want the black dragon to join in too?"

What is he saying? White and silver dragons and now black? How many colours are there? I know Romeo is a red dragon.

"Well let her find herself first before you go all loved up on her... She needs time to trust and feel safe... I want her to become her true self no matter who she falls for."

"She's too scared to be alone with you, Brody. Until she relaxes I'm going to be by her side...Just stay out of her room and tell the others too."

I then heard footsteps coming my way. I froze in place. What do I do? I closed my eyes as I heard a voice call out next to me.

"Holland? Are you okay?"

I opened my eyes to see Romeo. I threw my arms around him and held him tightly. He smiled as he held me tightly too. He then pulled away then took me by the hand.

"Come with me, Holland... There is something I want to show you."

Romeo chuckled as he pulled gently on my hand. I looked back to see Brody smiling at me. He then called out.

"I will see you later, Hydra."

I smiled back at him politely as I left the castle with Romeo. Once outside Romeo stopped and let out a huge breath.

"Are you okay, Romeo?"

"Yes, But I have never spoken to Brody like that before. We have never fought over a woman... How much did you hear?"

"Something about different colours of dragons? And something about the five?"

He chuckled then pulled me into his arms. He felt so warm and safe. I closed my eyes taking in his scent.

"You heard it all then huh?... Let's go somewhere quiet and we can talk."

I nodded as he took my hand again. Romeo took me outside. The two suns were setting and they looked beautiful. He smiled as he watched me. We ended up going to the marketplace. There were a few stalls and it looked like they were packing away from the evening. I wanted to see what they were selling. Maybe tomorrow I can take a look with Romeo.
