Feelings From The inner Dragon

A few hours later we were back in the village. Some of the other dragons came to bring back the families. I stood there holding Odin's and Breeze's hand. Most of the village was destroyed, but they never hit the Redstone castle... Our home.

"My God! Odin... They destroyed everything!"

I was in shock to see the beautiful fire lands like this. I turned to Odin and hugged him. I felt him rub my back as I cried against him. I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Luna and Kara. I pulled them both into my arms.

I chuckled as I still cried and they both cried with me.

"You are both safe! Thank you for coming home in one piece."

"Yes, of course, we are... There is no way we were going to let the demons take out our family."

Luna smiled as she hugged me tighter. Kara then spoke as she dried her tears.

"Tomorrow, I will start to rebuild our home with magic. You will soon see, it will be just as good as new."

I chuckled as we all looked around again to see the smoke drying out from fires all over the realm. I smiled as I looked back at them. They looked so tired. I hugged them both again as I spoke.

"Go inside the castle and find a guest room each then rest, you both have done good, thank you. I will be in soon. I need to find Romeo first."

"Thank you, my queen... I think you will find that Romeo is looking for you too."

"Do you know where he is?"

Luna smiled as she took my hand.

"Yes, he is in the castle as he heard you were back. That's the first place he raced off to."

I smiled as I hugged them again. I then hugged Odin and Breeze before I raced off to find him. As I entered the castle I ran into Ashby and he had a man with him.

Ashby ran towards me and held me tightly in his arms. I was surprised as Ashby has never done that before. I chuckled as he spoke.

"My queen, please forgive me, but I had the need to hold you."

I chuckled softly as I kissed his cheek. I watched him blush and he looked so cute. I whispered into his ear.

"There is nothing to forgive you for.. I've missed you too."

He smiled as he pulled out of my arms then spoke.

"I want you to meet, Rye. He is the young man you saw in your visions, my queen."

Rye smiled as he then knelt down on one knee and lowered his head. Ashby then grinned and did the same. Ashby knew I felt embarrassed when they all did that. I chuckled as I spoke.

"Please stand up."

They both got up and smiled. Rye then spoke.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, my queen. Thank you for sending help to rescue me."

I took his hand as I smiled.

"The pleasure is mine, I am sorry it has taken so long. But now you are back where you belong... Welcome home, Rye."

He bowed to me and Ashby smiled as he spoke again.

"Romeo is frantically searching for you with Brody."

"Thank you, Ashby... I will see you both later... I need to go and find him."

Ashby chuckled as he watched me hurry off to find Romeo and Brody. I searched Romeo's room but he wasn't there so I tried Brody's room. As I was to step into his room. Brody stepped out and I bumped into his strong chest.
