The Fight For Love: Part One

Romeo managed to calm everyone down the night I gave out a mating call. I was so embarrassed but Brody chuckled. I knew he really can't wait for me to carry his child. Romeo said it was alright and everyone understood I'm still not in control of my inner dragon. He promised me that he will help to control my feelings as I transformed. I can't go into heat and call on the dragons like that unless I mean it. I know it's not fair to them, as they respect their queen and are ready to carry out my orders.

It's been a week since that night and I have been having the same vision about the dragon boy that the demons had taken. I could feel his pain and deep down he's starting to remember he never belonged in the demon realm, even though they have brainwashed him into thinking it. I know he realizes enough to give me a vision. It felt like this was a cry for help directly to me.

Brody was right, he told me they would find a way into the realm and this was how, by using him. I also knew when they were going to try to get in, so we decided to get ready to fight for the ones we loved.

Kara had gathered the witches that came into the dragon realm with her. She is going to cast spells to protect us all and the realm. Luna and Breeze were training to fight along with me, by Odin and Phoenix. While Romeo and Brody were sorting out the flight coordination to attack with Ashby.

We also needed any young dragons that could use fire to help, but to stay back behind the main dragons. And for all the other families with small children were to go to the other side of the realm where the beach was and hide in the caves until this war is over. This time we were going to be ready for them. As for me and Odin, this was payback for killing our parents as well as destroying our clan and our lives.

We had about a week to get things ready and there was no time for error. Luna and Breeze were picking up how to fight quickly as they already knew how to fight and defend themselves. They were brought up in the realms, but I was having trouble with it as I was brought up in a peaceful town in the human world. Phoenix grinned as he was watching me then walked over to me.

"Are you having trouble there, my queen?"

"Yeah, a little. I just can't seem to get the move right."

He chuckles softly as he stands behind me. He Held his strong arm around my neck. I felt his breath tickle my skin as he whispered into my ear.

"Now think of me as a demon that's got you in this tight hold. Take your legs out to the side so you lower your body. At the same time, grab the attackers arms to stop them from choking you. Squat as you thrust forward and roll them over your shoulder... Do you think you got that?"

"I think so?"

"Okay, now give it a try."

I did what he told me and it worked. I threw him over my shoulder and I chuckled. But he kicked my leg away from under me and I fell on top of his strong chest. He chuckled as he held me down on him. His eyes sparkled as he looked into my eyes.

I couldn't take my eyes off him as his lips hovered over mine as he spoke softly.

"Now how would you get out of this hold?"

I grinned then took him by surprise as I kissed his soft lips. I felt his arms release me and I pulled my lips away then got up. But he flipped me over onto the mat and pinned me down. He chuckled softly.

"That was a cheat move, my queen."

I chuckled at him and he grinned. We heard a cough and we both looked up to see Odin standing over us. Phoenix let me up and I blushed. Odin chuckles as he holds out his hand to me. I took it and he pulled me gently up and into his arms.
