Daddy's Twin!

Emma: "Ready as I'll ever be."
Addison: "Okay." *Addison takes Emma's blood, then looks at Derek* "I'll page you when I have the results back. And I'll put a rush on it."
Derek: "Thanks Addison. Oh, and can you keep all this to yourself for now?"
Emma: "So you are ashamed of me. Wow. You're such a great liar."
Derek: "Emma that's not true. I don't want anybody to know it's your bloodwork and what it says before we do. And I don't want the whole hospital knowing you're my daughter yet because it can and will get back to all your aunts and uncles and you said that they don't know you were planning to meet me. right?"
Emma: "Yeah. That's true. I'm sorry. "
Derek: "It's okay." *He looks at Addie* "Are we done here?"
Addison: "Yeah. You're free to go. I'll page you, I promise."
--Derek and Emma leave and go back to his office--
Derek: "Are you hungry? Or is there anything you want to eat or drink?"
Emma: I'm a little hungry. And would love a bottle of water."
Derek: "Okay. What do you want and I'll go get it while you hang out here?"
Emma: "A cheeseburger with fries, and a bottle of water. Please?"
Derek: "Coming right up. I'll be back soon. Feel free to look around."
--Derek goes and gets the food. He enters his office again--
He notices Emma sitting on the couch crying softly to herself. He goes over to her.
Derek: "Emma, what's wrong?"
Emma: "My mom called, and she asked if me and Lexie were having fun and I lied to her and said yeah we are. I hate lying to her because she always knows, even over the phone that I'm lying. She told me she knew I was lying about something and then she asked to talk to Lexie. I panicked so I said Lexie got pulled into an emergency surgery and then I hung up on her."
Derek: "Oh Emma, It's okay. Everything will be okay. How about right now we sit here and eat, and you can tell me more about Jessica? Yeah?"
Emma: "Okay. Well what do you wanna know?"
Derek: "Well, what's she like?"
