"Hey baby girl ?" I hear a low husky voice behind me . "What do you want ?" I ask annoyed by the tall figure standing before me .Jarred Matthews , the biggest jerk and idiot in school ,he walks around with such a big dick attitude it's ridiculous.
"I'm just trying to holla at you ." He grins idiotically .
"Yeah, well you've done it so now you can leave ." It feels like the whole school's gone quiet watching us .
"Hey now don't be rude ." He warns taking a step closer to me .

" You heard me ... I asked or what !" Alex repeats. It isn't Lee but I'm still great full ,I'm not good at confrontation. Alex on the other hand has what I call a bad-bitch complex , no one dares to mess with her . She might seem small and light but there's a lot of fight in that one. She's half Spanish to so you can imagine what smack talk is like from her .
"Damn ,I'm sorry ." Jarred raises his hands up in defence and scurries off.
"That's what I thought ."
"Oh my God what would I do without you ?"
"Probably still be stuck in that locker shelby shoved you in in sixth grade ."
I roll my eyes and smile.

"Come on let's go to class ." I hook my arm through hers and we head off right before the bell rings.

"Ooh my God class was boring !" Alex rants.
"How would you know when you were busy reading a comic book ." I counter.
"It was still boring ." She says as we sit on a bench under a tree like we always do .
"Anyway why were you late for class this morning ?" I ask Sophie . "Oh I slept at Ben's place ."
Ben's place is far from school, like a two hour drive . Sophie tells her parents she's sleeping over at my place and has Ben pick her up from my house .From there I don't even want to know what they do .
"Hey guys ?" Lee greets as he takes a seat on the other side of the table next to Alex . His friends follow closely behind and join the table .
"Quinn is that you?"
Lee's eyes instantly turn to me when Marcus says that .
I feel a blush coming on . keep it together girl , just breathe .
"Damn girl ! Look at you ." Marcus continued "Out here lookin like Megan Fox ." He exaggerates .
"So how was your trip to New York ?" Eric asks Alex .
"Oh it was great , so get this ..."
I'm trying really hard to focus on the conversation going on but I can't , so I'm just reacting like everyone else . From the corner of my eye I can see Lee ,I feel him staring . I'm starting to feel like I'm naked in the open ,my heart is beating so loud rightnow .

"Well that's my cue to leave ." Alex says grabbing her bag and slamming her locker annoyingly loudly as the bell rings ," see you guys later ." She's going to dance practice in the auditorium .
"See you later ." I reply .
"Hey could you give me a ride Brooke's not coming to get me ."
"Ooh sorry , Ben gave me a ride and he's coming to get me . Unless...you want to come along -"
"No thanks !"
Sophie chuckles at the disgust in my expression .
"Suit yourself ." She walks away waving . What am I gonna do now ? Someone's tapping my shoulder ,I hate it when people do that . I turn around to see who it is ,"Hey !" My tone pitches as the person comes into view .
"Hey ." Lee lightly chuckles and rubs the back of his neck .
"Need a ride ?"
"Don't you have dance practice ?"
"We don't have any routine to practice so I don't need to go."
"Yeah sure okay ." When really I'd like to say you could take me to hell with you and I wouldn't even complain.

"Well let's go ." He offers and leads me to his car . I've been in it before but not alone with him ...yup, stupid group setting .
The ride is quiet ,too quiet . Im getting bored so I look out the window and I see him stealing glances at me . I don't think he notices because he's now just staring at me , looking me up and down , I'll take what I can get .
I wonder what he's thinking rightnow , just watching me . Maybe I'm out of the bro zone now ?
