Katie told me I had to ignore Lee for the whole day, that's probably not going to be a problem since I can't see anything with these contacts , everything's all hazy .

"Ouch!" I groan and immediately rub my little toe , I stubbed it against my  bathroom door .

"Are you okay ." Joan asks from the living room looking up from her novel .

"Yeah I'm great everything is just great , don't... don't worry about it ." I say right before I hit my hip against the kitchen counter .

"Mmm!" I groan silently , I can't let Joan know I got contacts that weren't doctor prescribed .
She will kill me and force me to wear those stupid glasses .

"Okay I'm going to school , bye ." I wave not looking back at her .

"Bye ."

Another day and I haven't spoken to either one of my best friends , I'm starting to think they're ignoring me .

Lee hasn't spoken to me either , I was late for class because I couldn't find the right book for the lesson , I'm seriously blind in in these things . When I got in class , I saw him glance at me like he didn't want me to see him or maybe he wasn't even paying attention to me and I just saw things .

"Ugh!" I groan trying to gently rub the itch in my left eye .
I clumsily rummage through my bag pack  ,  my fricking  textbook won't budge .
I use more force pulling it and after a few tries I pulled it out but with a little to much force .

"Hey Qui...is!" I heard a voice behind me , as soon as I had pulled the book out I felt it hit something solid behind me .

"Oh , my gosh , Lee! I'm ..so..so sorry ....are you ... bleeding ?" I ask frantically trying to make sure I didn't just poke his I out .
I rub him on the back while he is hunched over right hand on his left eye .
When he gets back up still covering his eye .

No no  no !
Seriously Quinn !

"No it's okay it doesn't hurt that bad ."

"Lee I just hit you with a giant history textbook , don't lie to me ." I scold but he seems amused rather than in pain.

"Let me see it ." I pull his hand away from his eye to examine the damage .
It's not badly injured it's just a little bit swollen and red .

"I'm so sorry , Lee ." I plead once more . The first time in two days he decides to talk to me and I go ahead and ruin it .

"Hey , you didn't see me coming , it's alright just be more careful next time ."

"Still I feel really bad , let me make it up to you ."  I can't look at him so I look down .

"How about , don't be late for our English study session ." He asks .

I had completely forgotten about the tutoring .

"Okay ." I answer wondering why he'd think I would be late , then it hits me that it's probably because of the contacts . I still can't see in them .

At least now I don't have to pretend to not want anything to do with Lee .

" Okay so with this question what you're supposed to do is -"

"Uuugh !" Lee groans  and lays his head over the table , rudely interrupting me .

"What is it ?"

"I'm boooooreed ." He replies lazily his eyes closing .

"Well there's just a few more chapters to go ."

"No , if we go on I'm gonna die if boredom and not to be rude or anything but you keep rereading some words and  you're reading really slowly today what's up with that ?"

"My eyes are kind of  messed up right now ."

"Why aren't you wearing your glasses then"

He noticed my dorky glasses , that's just great !

"Um , no I'm okay with these contacts."

He raises a brow ," you don't seem okay."

"Oh no, it's just the cafés lighting that's bad ."

"Mh , look if you're wearing them cause they make you look cute , it's not worth it ."

"No I just... Cute ?" I turn to him so fast I almost snapped my neck.

"You're missing the point here ." He stares blankly at me like he didn't just call  me cute three seconds ago  .

"Anyway , let's get out of here."

" And go where exactly , we aren't even done ."
After a few seconds of him scrunching his nose in contemplation his eyes lit up .

"Come on I'll show you ."

He grabs my wrist as I struggle to put on my bag .

"Wait."

"Hurry up." He groans .

"Alright  alright ." I follow closely behind since he still hasn't stopped tugging at my hoodie .
I'm glad I didn't wear heels today.

"Where are we going ?" I ask.

"You'll see ." He answers vaguely a childish boxy smile lighting up his whole face .
