I woke up feeling kinda iffy about school , last night's incident is honestly the worst thing that could ever happen to anyone . Still I wish it would have happened to anyone else but me.
And Lee , oh just the thought of him makes my heart flutter he was so sweet to help me and not judge me not that there's anything there to judge .

Oh no Lee !
I called him hot yesterday !
What the freck is wrong with you !?
Uuuh he's probably gonna remember it  when he sees me .
Well the jig is up people , my love for him has been discovered and I'm the idiot that blew my cover .

Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror and just think ... wow I'm stupid .
That's how I feel right now looking at my saliva smeared chubby cheeked face with that one tiny mole on my right cheek I've tried to cut so many times but keeps growing back .
How do I get myself out of this .
I could just not go to school but I'm too much of a perfectionist to let my perfect attendance get affected.

Maybe I should just avoid him for the whole day ? I mean he probably won't notice .

"Hey where were you guys last night ?" I huff walking up to the two figures in front of me .
They look  confused  by my outburst .

"Good morning to you too ." Alex says as she takes a large sip of her coffee .

"What are you complaining about ?" Sophie asks shoving books into her locker randomly .
"The party why weren't you guys there ?" I ask again .
"We left early , it kinda got boring ." Alex responds bluntly as she  fumbles with stuff in her locker .
"Did you hear what happened to me ?" I fold my arms .
"Yeah, we saw ." Alex says and stares at me as if to ask , yeah we saw you so now what ?

"Well ?" I urge .
"Well what ?" Sophie asks .
"Why didn't you guys help me ?"
"What do you mean help you ?" Alex raises a brow .
"I was half naked in a pool surrounded by people  all waiting with their phones out to take photos and click bait videos .what do you mean what do I mean ?"

Alex looks at me as if I just spoke an alien language and she was trying to translate or decode it .

"You could have come to my rescue ."

"I'm sorry ,why are you mad at us , you're the one who decided to wear ... whatever it is you wore ." Alex asks .

"I didn't know that that was going to happen ."

"Darling no , you were wearing two bandanas tied into knots , something you've never worn before and you don't think you had that coming ?" Sophie asks in disbelief as she scoffs .

"Still you could have helped you know ." I say and walk away .
I don't know why I'm mad at them , maybe I should really be mad at the gossip girls . It was their idea anyway .

They offered and I just ran with it like an idiot .There's really no one else to blame but me .
For the rest of the day now I have to walk around and put up with the  intentionally loud whispers and the cat calls from idiots like Jarred .
At least I haven't seen Lee yet .That's a plus .

"Quinn sweetie !" I turn around knowing all too well who it is .

"What." I ask the two female figures approaching me .

"Hey what's with the attitude ?" Katie asks putting a hand to her chest acting surprised .

" How could you ask me that when you were there, you know .When I almost embarrassed myself in front of half the school ?" I ask with an expectant look waiting for her to  catch on.

"Woah , how is it my fault ?" Katie asks putting on an  innocent  look .

" W..you gave me the outfit and said it would be totally fine ."

"And everything was going fine until you clumsily fell into the pool running away from a dog . You're lucky I haven't charged you for my expensive clothes ."

"Oh." I say not knowing what else to do .

"So come on stop being angry and let us help you get Lee ." Heather  offers.

"Thanks but I don't need your help ." I say starting to walk away .

" Are you sure about that ?" Heather asks as they follow closely behind me the sound of their heels clicking against the hallway floor echoing all over despite the crowded hall .

"What do you mean ?"

"Well honey Lee is a very busy man as you know and he's also very fickle what with him always meeting new people , it's very easy for him to move on from one person to the next . " Katie explains .

"Not only that but , in case you haven't noticed there's plenty of other girls not only in this school but  other schools and outside of school , older and younger girls .  See you're not the only one whose lovesick for him , there's a whole ocean of girls like you . I. Other words you're probably nothing compared to what he's seen , you're pretty basic sweetie."

Ouch, that hurt .

"And why don't you guys want him for yourselves ?"

"Oh he's not my type I'm more into bad boys like bad bad boys you know ." Heather shrugs and smiles proudly .

"Yeah I'm into way older guys ." Katie adds.

Wow this is highly convenient . Also I see where Sophie got her older guys kink . Wow she really didn't have a real life apart from these two .

"What makes you think I can't win him over on my own ?" I fold my arms .

"Like I said you are really basic maybe even below average ." Katie says .
Right before I open my mouth Lee walks by with a group of friends .

"Hi Lee ?" Katie waves .

"Hi Katie , Heather ." He nods and continues walking .

What just happened ?

Did Lee just ignore me ?

I knew it , I knew he'd ignore me . Ugh I'm such a weirdo . That's it my life is over .
There's literally no fate worse than this .

"See what I mean ." Katie  says .
I can't let Lee leave me , I know he's not mine yet but I'm not loosing to stupid fate .
