"As you know, our father was the Lycan king and every king needs an heir. Even though he thought of us as his own children, we weren't his biological children, we weren't blood related. The only one that was related by blood and was next in line for the throne was our  father's brother, Jeremy" Sam began.

I felt sick just hearing the name. That was the name of the man who murdered thousands of innocent lyncan wolfs, both men women and children. He was the one who ordered the attack that night, the attack that lead to the destruction of the kingdom, to an almost extension of our species and to the deaths of my parents.

"Will you guess just please get to the point already" Kiera whinned like a toddler. "Look, we get it. Jeremy was the one who betrayed the King, plotted with the witches and murdered the King and Queen alongside my parents. Now will you please just tell us what we really want to know" she demanded. She was the impatient one of us.

"Fine. If that's why you want" Jake retorted back just as fiery. An impatient Kiera and an angry Jacob....not a good combination.

As soon as those words left his mouth, both Jake and Kiera began to argue. This wasn't one of those agreements where they give sly remarks and dirty looks. This was one with shouting that could shake a house down, where anything that was breakable and within reaching area was used as a weapon. I sat back quietly as I watched the scene unfold before me. Chloe and Elijah were desperately trying to calm their mates down with no success. Zack and Alec were snickering and laughing with smirks on their faces, no doubt making a bet to see who would win. Sam was standing up, a look of fury evident in his features, trying to get the situation under control.

'I am so not able for this', I thought to myself as I sighed. My wolf has been very quiet since I woke up earlier today. My head is occupied with getting the information I need. This is the only way I can keep Jackson off my mind without thinking about everything that happened. Just that thought alone, another pain shots through my chest as the sadness fills me once more. By the sadness is soon took over by anger, both for him and the fact that all this screaming and shouting is giving me a migraine.

Standing up from my seat at the head of the table, I harshly slammed my hands in the table making it shake. All these emotions seemed to wake my wolf up and she was now on the verge of breaking out.

"ENOUGH" I shouted out. My voice was strong and authoritative. It actually wasn't my voice at all but voice of my wolf Alina, the voice of the Queen.  The room became silent instantly, everyone with their heads bowed in respect and their necks on display in submission.

"I have had enough of this childess behaviour, your acting like a bunch of little pups" Alina scolded them all but no one dared to say a single word.

"We have important things to discuss so I suggest everyone sit down, shut up and answer my god damn questions. Understood?" I was shocked to hear those words leaving my mouth with such authority. But what shocked me the most was their rection. 'Yes, my Queen' and 'Yes, your majesty' was the response I heard. I was used to hearing others who knew my identity call me that but no my own family, the was unfamiliar to me. But I wont lie, it felt good to hear.

"Didn't know I could do that" I said to my wolf. "You didn't do it, it was all me" Alina said smugly which caused me to mentally roll my eyes. I could feel her retreating as she gave me back full control. Without another word, everyone sat down in their seats and waited for me to continue.

"Let's continue, shall we" I gestured with a wave of my hand. I could see everyone taking a breath of relief knowing that I was in control again and not my wolf. I could almost imagine her puffing her chest out and hold her head up in pride. Such a cocky bitch.
