Taking Chances

Chapter 6

            
             So today was sunday and i'm only here at home kasi nag rerewiew ako bawal lumabas, pero pag may mag-aaya saking gumala ay pwede na palang lumabas (charot) sa friday pa yung finals namin so I still have a lot of time to review.

For the past few weeks wala kaming ibang ginawa kundi mag focus sa lessons namin dahil malapit na yung finals. Gosh! Dapat akong pumasa sa mga exams dahil siguradong iiyak ako pag di ako gumraduate. Bwesit na course to (charot lang. I super love this no)

So dahil busy kami pareho ni jane di na kami nagkikita for almost 3 weeks. Mamatay-matay na ako sa kakareview, i really wanted to rest a bit.

Nakaka frustrate lalo yung sinabihan ako ni daddy na ako yung gagawin nyang head sa engineering department sa company namin. Duh? Agad-agad? Di pa nga ako nakaka take nang board exams, malay ko kung di ako pumasa right? But they super trust me naman daw na kaya ko. So they reserve that position for me na.

My parents are also here lang at home dahil di naman medyo busy sa company.  My mom's are at the kitchen preparing for our lunch when I remembered something but I can't still spill it out because I actually forgot what is it. Gets nyo? So weird.

I closed my books when daddy went to me at the living room and brought a small white box with a pink ribbon on top. He sat beside me.

"I have something for you baby"  -he said while smiling widely.

"Really? What was that? What for? Its not my birthday yet dad if you have forgotten."  -I chuckled at him.

"This is our advance graduation gift for you. I want to give it now kasi advance ako mag isip."  -he answered and reach for my hand then put the box to my palm.

"Oh my gosh dad! You're so advance thank you So much iloveyou"  -I answered him sweetly.

"Thanks your mom also, kung di ako pinilit non di ako mag bibigay nang ganyang klaseng gift. That was her idea."   -he said while pinching his nose like he has a big problem.

"Hmm, you never win with mom, you always agree with her decisions. But anyway, I wont open it yet. We don't still know if I can make it pass the exams"   -I chuckled when my dad raise his eye brow with what i've said.

"Don't you believe in yourself? We know you can do it because you're a smart kid. Your mom are so positive about it, me also. So stop doubting yourself."  - I shrugged he already sounded mad.

"Gosh dad i'm already 20 stop calling me a kid."  -I glared at him.

"Don't use that kind of look to me young lady. You're still a kid for us"  -he teased me.

"dad! How can I grow up if you and mom will always treat me like a kid? gusto ko na ngang lumipat nang sarili kong condo eh just like kuya."  -I pouted at him.

"So you will leave me here? Seriously?"  -mom shout from the kitchen. She probably heared us.

"Of course not mom. I mean not yet"  -I answered her which made her go out to kitchen and went to us.

"Anong not yet? Hindi ka talaga pwedeng umalis dito sa mansyon. Dito ka lang titira!"  -she's getting mad I know.

"What? How about when i got married? Dito pa rin ako titira together with my husband?"  - I teased her more. Makes her shut for a moment thinking of what i've just said.

"Why? Are you getting married? Do you have a boyfriend already?"  -she sounds stress hahaha.

"Yes i have mom"  -I said casually.

"PHOEBE!!"  -my dad call me with so much authority of his voice.

"Oh my gosh i'm just kidding. You both looked like having a crisis."  -I laughed at them.

"Anak naman, wag naman ganyan. Di pa kami ready. Baby ka pa eh."  -my mom hold at my shoulder.

"Here we go again. I said i'm not a baby anymore. I dont have a boyfriend okay? I won't get one not unless you will do something like an arrange marriage or what."  -i simply answer.

"We won't ever put you in an arrange marriage. I will assure you that baby. We won't meddle with your decisions about your lovelife but please don't make it early."  -my dad stroke my hair. Di na ata sila titigil sa kaka-baby nila sakin.

"Oh what's the meeting all about? Bat ganyan mga itsura nyo?"  -my kuya suddenly appeared at the door which made me run to him. He opened his arms to hugged me.

"Gosh i missed you. Buti na isipan mong pumunta dito? Wala kang babae na dala sa condo mo 'no?"  -i raised my eye brows at him. It was a month ago the last time I saw him.

"Excuse me? I don't bring girls to my condo. Girls bring me at their place."  -he said casually. Ews.

"Yuck kuya. Dont hug me again ha, baka may germs ka galing sa mga kalandian mo"  -i snob at him before letting go.

"Yuck phoebe. Don't run to me again ha if makita mo akong bagong dating lang."  -he mocked with me, i glared at him.

"oh Stop na both of you, let's eat now. I'm starving"  -mom said so we followed her at the dining.

"Kuya can I live together with you? Please?"  -I ask and sit beside him, Mom's in front of us and daddy at the center table.

"Baliw ka na? Hindi pwede, baka kung saan ka mag gagala pag don ka tumira. Lagi pa naman akong wala don. Dito ka lang para ma bantayan ka nila mama."  -he answered.

"Anong bantayan? Hindi ko na ako bata, I know my limitations." -I pouted.

"Stop insisting phoebe! Di ka pwedeng umalis hanggat hindi ka nakakapag simulang mag trabaho sa company!"  -galit na si daddy. Shut up na'ko!

   Parang gusto ko nang magtrabaho agad. Sisimulan ko nang gumawa nang sketch sa condo na gusto ko tapos yung mga interrior, naeexcite ako. Pwede na kaming mag sleep over ni jane yieeeey!!
